tl;dr Food is overpriced - avoid the sandwiches for sure, and ask that the fries be made properly and with some kind of seasoning.
Atmosphere is wonky...there's a lot of walls and the lighting is weird.
Drinks are average price - no draft beer, but they do have cans.
Games - Most people weren't playing the games, though there's a decent selection. I didn't realize Mario Kart Double Dash was at the bar, but I did play Guitar Hero and rocked it out.

First, to the owner, thank you for taking the time to respond!
I wanted to love this place. Food. Video games. Booze. I love all these things.
Food: First and foremost - the food is overpriced. The sandwich and basket of limp, barely fried fries you see in the picture was $14. I would call it a fair value at $8.
The friend that recommended the place let us all know before hand that the food isn't very good, and he was right. My wife was also disappointed with her sandwich. No one at the table really enjoyed their food.
The owner has responded that everything is locally sourced - and I think that's great, but I can bounce down to Hopcat and get any burger, stuffed burger, or sandwich with crack fries for $13 or less. The Master Beef pales in comparison.
Service: Service can only be found at the bar. The liquor drinks are $6-$9. Standard pricing. The guys were friendly and upbeat, but seemed a bit overwhelmed. I chalk this up to the bar being newer.
Games: The video game selection is okay, but you have to sit at specific tables to play the games. I did get to rock out on Guitar Hero. I enjoyed that. I walked out with a lot of leftover tokens in case of another visit. (Are we supposed to walk out with tokens? I don't even know.)
Atmosphere: The atmosphere is off, sadly. They took over an old Mexican restaurant and the feel isn't right. That can be fixed. The owner did respond that they're working on this and I believe it, but initial impressions matter, especially in your first few months. There's games, but not a ton of Gamer decor, and the lighting ambiance needs to be adjusted.
My fiends and I all agree- great idea, subpar execution. Bring the prices of food down or bring the quality up. Get your atmosphere straight. Otherwise, this time next year, LFG will not exist.
Overall, this place is one you should avoid unless you’re going for a few drinks and some games before or after dinner...
Read moreWhen I think of how best to describe my visits to LFG it can be most aptly described as disappointingly consistent. I made my first visit to LFG on November 24th 2018 with a friend after receiving very poor service at a neighboring eatery. We thought the concept would be inviting and with it being an upstart it would have some passionate employees at the helm... Boy were we wrong! We sat at a table in the bar area nearest the Super Nintendo. Two bartenders working and two female wait staff walking around and taking other tables orders, even those who entered the seating area after us. After about ten minutes of this lack of service and no one even acknowledging our existence we left and went to a nearby hotel sports bar where we received exceptional service. Again, VERY disappointing.
I was in the area again Saturday December 1st 2018 and decided to give them another shot as it was midday and not busy (two bartenders and a server) and employees were just as inattentive to my existence. I sat in the same table as my previous visit this time alone, the bartenders were conversing with patrons at the bar and the server roamed the area even serving the table nearest the corner but didn’t even make any attempt to check in with me. I couldn’t believe it…
The location is prime for nightlife foot traffic; the entertainment concept is wonderfully unique. My main concern is twice I’ve attempted to experience LFG and both times I was ignored. I hope this review is helpful and I hope both my experiences were anomalies but I will struggle to find many positives when asked my thoughts on this venue especially with so many other options...
Read moreI have been waiting to visit LFG since it opened, I've had plenty of time but could not afford to go. My family went last week and it was one of the most disappointing visits to any restaurant I've experienced. Most games were broken or off. The entire place had dismal vibes, everything looked grimy & sticky to the touch. We waited for over an hour for food, which was wild bc the place was absolutely DEAD inside and the kitchen had been open for over an hour. I tried to order a second beer while I waited for food, the kind I wanted was available but not cold. 😕 Appetizer came out halfway through our meal, but at least the appetizer was hotter & fresher than the burgers.
I have so many tokens leftover, but zero interest in ever returning. It was way too expensive to be this bad, if I would have ordered and then paid after the meal like a traditional restaurant: we could've cancelled our order and went somewhere else nearby. By paying ahead and receiving tokens to play while you wait, you feel trapped into waiting however long it will take. I can only assume that this place is more for drinking and playing Goldeneye. The bartender was very kind...
