Best macarons I’ve ever had! I had two at Bias Brewing and stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the bakery’s logo walking down the street—I KNEW I had to go in and get more. I bought one of every flavor available that day, and every single one was SO delicious; just perfect balanced: the rose wasn’t too overpowering yet was delightfully present, the absinthe had no alcoholic taste yet was so absolutely on point I can’t see how there’s any way it’s not in the batter, and the fruity pebbles macaron is honestly probably in my top 10 favorite desserts I’ve ever had. The Italian meringue buttercream was light with a delicate sweetness, the cake was moist, and the strawberry compote filling was the perfect complement.
