Panda Express — Restaurant in Kalispell

Feb. 5th 2024 & January 16th 2025 the dinning area was so cold I ate in the car, I asked all customers by asking aloud, "is the dinning area cold to you all? " They all said yes & one young lady said it's freezing. I told everybody I'm not eating in here I'm going to go eat in the car where it's warm. The take out bowl - carton has dramatically shrunken. The prices have gone up as well and it's no longer affordable or perhaps it's affordable but I'm not willing to pay. I ordered their smallest little box and it's small it can only hold Maybe one serving spoon. I ordered that with one small fountain Coke and it was over $9.00. I should have gone to Dickey's Barbecue across the street and got a barbecue sandwich and coleslaw and a drink and you can hardly finish the whole thing and it's always warm inside. This location has really been horrible lately. I drive into Kalispell a few times a month. Always go to Panda to eat. Their customer service is alright. Only when a select few are working at least. Tonight we showed up at 8:05 (web says they close at 8:30) and asked for our usual. They declined to make more and said only whats out here. WHICH is ridiculous. You're open till 8:30 we should be able to order what we want anytime before then. There would have been plenty of time. I've managed a business before and worked in a lot of customer service positions including a small restaurant in Polson. I'll say this. If you showed up at 4:50 and we close at 5. We still make what you ask for. Otherwise, what is the point of the closing time. They should advertise that they lock doors at 8:25 and stop serving you what you want at 8:00 pm. Oh wait. I've showed up an hour to 45 minutes to closing before and they still refused to make what you want to order. Do better...

The food is good. It is consistent with the vast majority of Panda Express restaurants that exist.

This particular Panda Express appears to do a high volume of business. We noticed that customers are constantly coming in for food. Since this particular restaurant has been around for several years, we suspect that's a good thing.

The staff is efficient. They take customer orders and fill them as quickly as possible. They take note of what items might be running low and make sure that more is prepared for other customers to enjoy. Between customers, I noticed that the staff is busy organizing food trays and cleaning.

The only thing I noticed was that the tables s quickly cleaned after customers leave. I don't know if that's a matter of staff's shortages or just a habit the crew has gotten into. In any case, something do you...
