Kids section does indeed have a plethora of educational books despite some ill-faith reviews. The kids section has one of the biggest sections of the store and is kept nice and clean. For a small store, they have a lot to look at and treat their books carefully -- The last one I went to in another state had dents and rips in almost all of the books I picked up! Staff are incredibly kind and welcoming and always have the answer you need. No café, bummer, but the atmosphere is cozy. Music isn't blasting. I came at a busy time but they were quick to get other employees on the registers to help the line go quickly. Overall, a great store to shop at and even come just for the experience while...
Read moreIt is a strange set up as far as B&Ns go. It does'nt have the classic racetrack setup that these stores usually do. There are tons of little tables all over the place and it can be quite difficult for persons in a wheel chair to get around. The manga section is quite large in comparison to everything else which is unfortunate. If your going for comics or games look elsewhere. The comic section is laughably small and their board games are just shoved in the back of the store like an after thought. All in all I'm happy to have a local book store again but as far as other B&Ns I've been to this...

After having tried to have Store employees help me at the stores in Missoula and Kallispell I went to another vendor. They did the work to discover that the book is no longer in print and got back to me to provide me that info. I have, in the past, bought books over the phone from B & N and had them sent to my home. I paid for each of the apparently worthless membership cards in my wallet. My 2024 rating of Barnes and Noble is obscene; but, rest assured, I'll...
