Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Kansas City

The experience at this chili's for my first time being here was beyond terrible and being a server AND restaurant manager for over 15 years I'm going to report this incident. They had a total of 5 tables in their establishment on a Saturday afternoon so the timing and service that was given was asinine. Our first server got our drinks then asked were we ready to order as soon as we sat down. Of course we aren't ready to order. We asked him politely to give us just a few moments and we will be ready. That turned into 20 minutes. Everyone walking by our table seeing us waiting but no one saying anything. After the 22 minute mark I got up and flagged down the host to figure out where our server is. That took another 5 minutes for our server to show up but not to out table. He pulled the bartender aside and asked her to take us cuz he wasn't adult enough to right his wrong. He pushed his mess up off on someone else thinking that's okay. But that's not it. Not only did he pawn us off on a completely different person. They didn't get our order remotely right. To the point they knew they screwed up they had the manager deliver our food to us. Throughout this whole process we didn't get an apology, no one spoke on what happened. And the fact we were the only black people in the place made us seem like we were really being treated poorly on purpose. We are very upset and disappointed at this experience and corporate will be made aware of this. Definitely not worth a 70...

We ordered the Appitizer pick 3 Mini burgers.Chicken tenders.Springrolls. Avacado cheeseburger and your Pick 3 combo Ribs.BBQ Pork.Bacon Chicken The burger was supposed to be medium but the cook smashed the heck out of it in the back instead of letting it slowly cook to perfection. I mean. Really. Its a burger. Flip it twice... The fries were Awesome!! Thank you for waiting and cooking them at the perfect moment to be extra hot, crispy and seasoned to perfection. The Appitizer was great but the chicen tendera were cold. The spring rolls were extra hot delicious and mini burgers were good but hard bread. No fresh. The pick 3 Ribs were good, bbq pork had a ton of fat in it. Which is assumed in BBQ...so no biggy. The chicken was not fresh chicken breasts... Or grilled. It was like prebaked and just threw bacin and cheese on top. The corn looked amazibg with the chili and feta cheese but it was overcooked soggy corn. Not grilled corn.. Maybe it was just cooked earlier instead of fresh. The Margaritas were great and a solid price. Our server was Amazing. His perky fun attitude was great to see and he always had what we needed at the table. Pride in cooking seems to be hard to find anymore. Just think of each meal you cook as you were cooking for yourself or a family or friend. Then... Maybe you would see it. Plus. Half the restaurant and less customers...

Visited on 4/2/23 at 6 pm. Kelli, waitress, was pleasant and responsive. But, the cooks should be ashamed of themselves. This was our 3rd time of eating at Chilis in the last 30 days, but our first at the Roanridge location. The serving portion & toppings of the loaded curly fries was 25% of every other order we have been served. Very, very tiny and skimpy on all the toppings. We have always viewed the $6 as a good deal, but at this location, we were served $2 worth. My husband liked his grilled chicken salad. I ordered mashed potatoes with the cilantro-lime carne asada. The mashed potatoes were the consistency of pancake mix. A spoon would have been required for these mashed potates. This has never been our experience at other locations. When I asked for a replacement order, I was told that all the potatoes are that soupy. So, I passed. I couldn't get over eating food thinner than the consistency of baby food. The carne asada was in pieces the size of a push pin. The quantity was acceptable, but the size was impossible to get on a fork. When we received our bill, we were overcharged for the two beers. I had to point out the price of the beer shown on the menu. The MOD NEVER made a visit to our table, even though there were multiple issues. As much as I love Chilis, this location was very...
