Gone here for pretty much as long as it has existed.
The past year or two though.... prices have just gotten out of hand.
First, something basic like a 16oz latte is going to run you $5-6 (Before tip). Then they have other food items, like juice which is going to run about twice as much as the hand made fresh juices from a popular breakfast spot 2 blocks away. A small breakfast burrito (with nothing else) is around $7+.... a latte and burrito with 15% gratuity cost about $13.50.
I wonder if they rent the location and rent has gone up, or what? Iām not a real estate expert, but with seemingly widespread growth in KC, I can imagine real estate values going up, and rent going up. I have known several businesses to close up because they sold they locations recently, and even seen an empty parking lot being sold for $1 Million.
I worry that they are going to price themselves out of the market place. I know I am much more likely to go elsewhere ... considering I can get a hardy full breakfast with drink at a trendy local a stones throw away for like $10.
With that said, Iāve always liked the beautiful location with patio and lawn and being able enjoy that in the spring and summer. The staff has always been šš¼ in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStumbled upon this neighborhood gem. Came by this Nice quaint and cozy coffee shop near by the old wonder bread bakery around 5 pm.. all the other nearby coffee places had already closed for the day. I am so glad that my friends and I decided to take a chance and make the stop over. It was just a short 10 minute walk from the old wonder-bread factory. The coffee here was so delicious. The filing station also had a good selection of pastries available. We tried the Apple cider fancier. It was moist and very flavorful. For a drink we had a hot vanilla macchiato. The taste was sweet and aromatic. The beans that were used are just so flavorful. Another member of our party got an iced cold brew. The coffee was smooth and strong. The black iced tea was sweetened perfectly and had a good taste. The last thing that we got was a juice that was freshly squeezed on site. It was an apple, spinach, ginger blend. It tasted very fresh and sweet. The flavors are blended very well and tasted great. The girls that were working there were very friendly and made great suggestions. I would definitely...

Everyone there is so kindāgo often enough, and theyāll know you by name. Itās small but mighty, always popular, and for good reason. I love their mocha lattes made with chocolate milk! Their food is a bit pricey, as most coffee shop food is, but itās genuinely good. I usually get the chorizo clutch burrito or the turkey sandwich. They also serve desserts and pastries from Ibis Bakery, which are fantastic, so I can enjoy a full meal and dessert if I want. Plus, they have a reward system, which I really appreciate.
The best part, though, is the vibe. The space used to be a garage and it still has that rustic charm. In warm weather, they open up the space and thereās also great patio seating. They go all out with seasonal decorations, and Iām loving the Christmas decor right now.
Overall, itās a fantastic coffee shopāI just keep...
