Loved the environment! The music, atmosphere as well as the staff are top tier! Me and a friend both ordered the candied-yam latte both iced and hot and were a bit disappointed. We both ordered sweet and extra sweet for our drink option and received a really bitter latte. Also, we couldn’t really taste the candied yam flavoring if any was added. It tasted more like a regular iced/hot coffee. The cafe was sold out of two out of four or five of their specialty drinks. Which isnt a downside lol it happens. But didn’t really bother to get it fixed, wasn’t too much of a issue. But we were a little disappointed. Otherwise, the cafe was great and we had a good time and the pastries were good! I got the latte and it was impeccable. The flavor of the espresso was perfect, just the right amount of smoky and roasty, and the milk brought out the nutty undertones. All the flavor and none of the bitter, incredibly smooth. The space is really well done. There's only a handful of tables and chairs, but it hasmore comfy chairs with a couch to really give it a cozy feel. This makes it feel like a space you want to relax and spend time in, which is a welcome change from most coffee shops, which are mostly tables and chairs. This is a little market-y/bar-y place more than a "coffee shop" to me. There are about 6 stools (i hate stools cuz im lil) and a few clusters of seats with almost NO tables. There's 1 table and 1 coffee table. Would 10 out of 10 NOT recommend if looking for a place to work. Its unfortunate because theres space for probably 10-15 tables but the decision wasnt made to do that.
