My complaint: I've NEVER come across an individual at ANY food/restaurant location who was this rude and trust me I've dealt with a few unpleasant encounters. Ive been a manager at scooters coffee house for almost 3 years so I understand that sometimes it's hard to deal with time management and pressure from customers. However no matter the circumstance may be, you never treat your customers disrespectfully. AND the restaurant was NOT busy when we went.
Story: My mom and I rarely come to the Zona rosa area, and now I'm seeing why...we went your facility to pick up a quick meal before we headed to the movie theater, since movie prices are ridiculous. We pulled up to the drive through as any normal drive through visit. My mom orders a mcchicken and then she wanted a mocha frappe, my mother being a Filipino immigrant cannot articulate what she wants fast enough. The Male who takes our order at the drive thru instantly was rude and was rushing us to order even though there we NO other cars behind us or beside us on the other voice box. He then asks my mom again "what was that?" And then instantly said "you need to be specific on what you want and give details" WITHOUT giving us options on what your place Carries because from franchise to franchise it varies so we didn't know what flavors you had. THEN his voice gets more aggressive and he says "we cant serve you, good day" so my mom said "are you kidding me?"
So then my mother and I went inside and the whole staff was refusing serve us....all over not knowing what flavor options you guys had? The cash register at the front told us leave!! what on earth? I've never had such a horrible experience at McDonald's and when I asked for a manager and he said he was the manager, Unfortunately I did not get his name, BUT he claimed to be a manager at your facility.
All in all. I feel prejudiced against my mother which is NOT going to fly especially that it was over something simple like flavors on a mcfrappe.
Your employee could've just gave my mom the flavor options and types of drinks either it be hot iced or frappe but he DID NOT. instead he was rude and refused to give us service.
I apologized to him if he was having a bad day and he had to take it out on us but informed him we would never buy food from this location.
I hope no other customers are being treated like this and that they are speaking up when they are, this location has the worst customer service and is prejudice. I wouldn't recommend this McDonald's location to anyone.
I called the customer satisfaction line and they offered us coupons, but that does NOT do any justice, I hope they are investigating they employees and find people that can actually communicate with people without yelling at them right off the bat for no reason.
I will not settle for coupons, I want the issues solved AND an apology for them treating my mom the way they...
Read moreOn January 2nd 2024, this was the only location in the area that was open at around 2AM and honestly I don't see myself ever coming back. I frequent this location often as I work nights and my experience with them continues to get worse. Usually the same employee that just doesn't seem to have a care in the world. Took them dam near 20 minutes to take my order at the machine. When I finally placed my order I drove to the window and from looking in the drive thru window it had looked like a tornado happened inside the building. It was almost as if the employee had dumped a full trashcan on the floor infront of the window. There was no way you could walk anywhere inside without having to step on the trash. The countertops where nasty with empty bottles and containers everywhere and the employee was standing there texting on her phone and made it very obvious she didn't care about keeping clean or doing the job. When she took my cash I used to Pay for the meal I had to remind her I was still waiting on my drink and she gave me a look as if I was asking for too much. The place was so disgusting I was questioning weather or not I should eat the food. I'm hoping someone with authority to do something sees this review and reaches out to me as I have recorded a short video showing how disgusting the place was and that's only from what could be seen from the drive thru window, makes me wonder how bad the rest of the kitchen was. The employee was lazy and worthless she had a bad attitude and made it apparent she didn't want to do anything but be on her phone. If I was a manager of the store and saw this without a question she would be gone.
There was also a ladie in a van that was too big to fit in the drive thru but kept trying to get the employees attention. She was ignored every attempt. She had a pick up order she had already paid for she had been waiting on for an hour and yet the employee continued to ignore her. She even called the location 5 times to listen to to ring forever and then when someone did answer she got hung up on immediately. When I finally got my food I told the employee about the ladie in the van and she responded with " well she's gonna wait 2 mores " she wouldn't even keep the window open for the conversation she kept closing the window befor we were done talking. Again not a care in the world was rude as hell and a worthless lazy employee. I hope the ladie in the van got her money back because she ended up...
Read moreThis review is after 2 years of being a customer here, living just a 15 minute walk away. I have never been to a worse restaurant, even after years of working as a cook and trying new places all the time. I want to give it a third of a star for almost trying. I used to love McDonald's breakfast burritos but this restaurant has urged me to wait until I come across another McDonald's to order any, despite passing this store to get to the highway. The wait is the worst, drive through somehow taking way longer than going in which is still sometimes 30 minutes to get your 1 cheeseburger with value fry (something I CANNOT comprehend having worked at a McDonald's before). I've also waited 45 minutes in a 3 car line past 10 p.m. only to recieve what may or may not be my order. This happens nearly consistently at night, and I say with confidence that this store's night crew is abysmal. There has been a few times I was told they couldn't accept money until "the system gets fixed". One experince I had stands out by far, though. I placed a mobile order for 2 meal combos off the menu. I then went to pick it up and after I got there, I was told their machines were down. I didn't get a response when I asked about a refund since the app had seemingly already charged me, I'm assuming the employee turned off her headset. So I pulled into the parking lot so I could call a manager about this refund. Just in that time I literally watch the drive through operator run a customer's card and sell food while I was waiting for someone to pick up the phone. I kept my cool and calmly explain myself to the manager and she tells me to come back in 15 minutes and things will be sorted. Waited 15 minutes, went back through the drive through. Drive through operator again tells me that they can't accept orders. Cool officially lost at that point so I left in frustration and called the manager again when I got home. They said they don't understand my problem and to come back tomorrow. So I get home, do some googling and finally figure out how to get my refund. On my own. After driving and waiting for the past hour.
I believe this McDonald's needs to make some serious internal changes to fix these issues soon because word about the quailty of service from this store is spreading, even to people I know on the other side of the city. Its a general rule among savvy people in KC to avoid this store,...
