The worst service I’ve had in quite a sometime. I order from this particular Pizza Hut fairly often We’re generally pleased with our service aside from a few select incidents that occurred in the past that I didn’t feel were necessary to file a complaint. However, today was the first time that I have been deliberately discarded as a customer. Now, I will admit that there was a series of unfortunate events took place today that caused my timing to be off. The registers at my local grocery store for some reason were offline which took entirely too long to resolved. I had rushed as fast as I possibly could to the Pizza Hut location less than a two minute drive from the grocery store and arrived there at 10:13 pm. Now, on the front door the hours are listed for them to close at 11:00pm so I was relieved to see that I made it in plenty of time. The door had been locked and I could see an employee standing behind the counter as I knocked a few five or six times before he decided to come and acknowledge me. I immediately told him of the issue at the store thinking it was locked for security reasons because surely the store wasn’t closed already right? He frowned upon me and said “Sorry the store closed at 10:00pm there’s nothing more that I can do…” I apologized for being late again practically begging for his assistance. I could see the pizzas sitting in the warmer still! Of course he was of no help even though I was clearly standing in front him 8 months pregnant starving and almost in tears. The man even notified me that he was just going to give it to his employees since he voided the order already. I offered to pay extra and tip for the food being that my daughter still needed dinner also. He would not subside on his decision. Now Hopefully I’ll still have my reward points and money back on my card here within a few days. I guess It’s the lack of compassion and sympathy for people that upsets me the most. Long story short, Pizza Hut contracted with Door Dash for delivery. My order never arrived. Another door dash driver picked it up other than the one assigned to deliver to me. Actually the door dash driver assigned to me sent me a text saying my order and another were stolen by someone impersonating door dash at Pizza Hut on Wornal Rd. When I contacted Pizza Hut (Wornal Rd, Kansas City) the manager told me I needed to contact Door Dash. I explained to her that I didn’t use door dash and I shouldn’t have to be searching for my food which was ordered on pizza hut.com. She was very rude, unhelpful and immediately transferred me (without even telling me, just transferred in the middle of our conversation) to the Pizza Hut call center. The first call center manager was also extremely rude, unhelpful and said the same thing THAT I NEEDED TO CONTACT DOOR DASH!!!!! Seriously, I DIDN’T USE DOOR DASH!!!! Pizza Hut did!! I told her I shouldn’t have to be searching for my own pizza ordered on Pizza Hut website. She transferred me to another manager, Allison. After explaining yet again, for another 15 minutes, Allison finally agreed to process a refund for the $34 worth of food I didn’t receive. Read moreMy friend ordered me a pizza and wings from the Pizza Hut on 76th and Wornell in Kansas City Missouri. Door Dash delivered the pizza. When I received the pizza, first I looked at the wings and it was supposed to be six wings in the box, it was only five and it got worse the pizza she ordered was supposed to have hamburger and onions. But what I received was pork and onions, im a guy that doesn't eat pork so this was definitely a problem. When I called my friend to tell her about this she couldn't believe it so she tried to call them and all of a sudden she couldn't get them to answer the phone. After she tried for so long she gave up. I had to give the pizza away. What is going on when you order from a restaurant and they mess up your order, especially with the wings its only six that come on the order and you get five how hard is it to count to six. She ordered the pizza with beef and it came woth pork. These restaurants are getting so bad at screwing up you order you would think they do it on purpose.
