OMG, This Hotel is AWESOME...It may not look like it from the outside, but it's AMAZING inside. The Restaurant is Awesome. Angel, from the Restaurant, Made AMAZING DRINKS and the Service is Nothing short of AMAZING as well. The Food was Really, Really Good. I'm not even Exaggerating, it is Truly Good. I had the Quesadillas, My Husband had the American Burger and the Kids had the Chicken Tenders, All of Us with Fries...Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! If I could Give more than 5 Stars, I would...We have Our kids here as Well. We are here for a BB Tournament for Prep Hoop Next and it's about a Mile from the Hy-vee Arena. This Hotel is the Perfect Location in the Downtown Area right next to the Highway, which gives You Access to Whatever and Whatever...Still here until Monday. But had to make a Review. Alright, time to listen up. Clean food in the American hotel network is as rare as a three-dollar bill. Usually, you’re staring down Goodyear eggs—rubbery, overinflated, and designed to bounce off a plate—and tire track bacon strips that strip the treads off your taste buds.
But not here.
Because somehow, against all odds, we stumbled upon the national treasure that is the Holiday Inn Kansas City Downtown breakfast buffet.
And can you believe we made it on the inaugural day? I shit you not. The sun does shine on a farmer’s ass when the stars align. If you’re ever in Kansas City and need to straighten out your digestive bits, stop and see Phoebe and ol’ what’s-her-name at the breakfast buffet.

Read moreLin Lin was our server at the bar lat night. She was really rude to me and I hope she doesn't ruin anybody else's night like she did to me. She didn't let me sit at the bar but after a minute she let everyone else sit there. Then she made us wait forever to order out food. Inordered wings with only carrots, not celery. Got my dish with ONLY celery. When I complained, she said carrots were for salads. Then she walked away shaking her head and throwing her arms in the air like I was the problem.
Now, we are seating waiting for our breakfast. My husband ordered 2 classic breakfast and one waffle order. This new girl (that doesn't have a name tag) brought one classic breakfast and the waffles. Plus they don't have orange juice!
I am really disappointed at all this with the bar part of Holiday Inn the people at the front desk was amazing... Julie and Sherry were great...
