Personally, I cant get over their selection of produce and how diverse the shops are around it. Just saying, maybe after you grab your farmers market items, you should then go to Tikka and get some spices that fit what you got 😏👌

Highly recommend their coffee shop in the corner! And one of the most raved about kc ice cream shops is right up the hill. I highly recommend stopping at Betty Rae's after a bunch of walking at the market! 😉

A fun little attraction close to North Kansas City. You can find several restaurants and drink shops that offer a variety of foods and specialty drinks such as Dragonfly Tea ( I recommend their Thai Ice Tea with Boba) and my favorite sandwich shop that everyone should try is Pigwich! Prices are reasonable and the food is on point. I recommend their Brisket sandwich with sweet potato fries. Even though you can feel it going straight to your ass, it's totally worth it. They even offer ice cold beer; bottle and draft, and an outdoor eating area in the warmer months which is great for people watching or feeding the little birds. City Market has a great open air market with locally grown fruits and vegetables, a bunch of cool novelty shops to blow your paycheck on shit you don't need, a board game store, and The Candy Shop which is a little on the pricey side but who cares when you can fill your own huge pixy stick from a carousel of different flavored pixy dust (sugar, basically)! I eat several a week. 🫣🤫 You can also find The Steamboat Arabia museum which is a fun little excursion that provides a small history lesson for the kids without them realizing that that's what you're doing.
