Waffle House — Restaurant in Kansas City

Normally I enjoy Waffle House, but I would stay away from this one. On Oct. 6th we went to this one around 11:55pm. The waitress explained they were busy which we could see. 45 minutes later, our order still had not been given to the cook and three people that came in 30 minutes after us ordered and got their food. I received lemons for my hot tea that had mold on the end. When I brought it up to the waitress, she threw them away and when I asked for more, she said all their lemons had come in frozen and I would like how they looked. Also, there was only one cook wearing gloves. One handled a slice of cheese 3 different occasions without gloves, sliding it over the grill to melt it a little then placed it on top of the hashbrowns to be served to customers. Also, our waitress, was making waffles without using gloves and between her and the other server, they were picking up dirty dishes, wiping tables taking orders and handling food without washing their hands. Also, a pile of coffee filters fell to the floor onto their side and they just picked them up, removed one filter and put them back where they were sitting, then proceeded handling food again. Our server was drinking chocolate milk, making food and one time sneezed into her hands and didn't wash her hands afterwards. This store is a health department's nightmare for serving food. Stay away if you don't want to risk...

I've always enjoyed Waffle House's food, but the Waffle House in Liberty is something special. How to describe it?... It's like the old TV show, "Cheers." The waitresses, cooks, and even the host and hostess really go out of their way to know the costumers by name. They acknowledge you when you come in. They remember your favorite order and go out of their way, everything, to make sure you're good is delivered fast and exactly how you want it.

At least three of my friend-waitresses recognizes me when I come in the door, but they also remember my mom's name and my son's name who have only visited the store a couple of times. Not only that, they been over backwards to truly make your visit memorable.

I was Kansas City Missouri and noticed the Waffle House! I love the Waffle House the food is usually really good! Well for this trip the food and service could have been better. I was extremely disappointed😕 The server kept dropping my food off the plate 🥓 forgetting to bring what I ordered 🥓 🧇 bringing cold food and being brought the worst waffle 🧇 I've ever had at a Waffle House! I kept looking at the picture of the waffle on the menu and mine was more like a pancake waffle it was really thin and soggy it didn't just look terrible 😞 but it tasted the same way. My daughter and husband tried to help me eat it but after the 1st bite they refused to eat anymore of it! I live in New Mexico and we used to have a few Waffle House restaurants but they all closed now but everytime I ate at any of the locations the food was delicious! Everything that got served looked and tasted amazing! So when I came across this Waffle House I was very happy but that quickly turned to disappointment. This was the worst visit to Waffle...
