Panera Bread — Restaurant in Kansas City

I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent visit to Panera Bread. While the person at the register was very courteous, I was disappointed with the service overall.

I placed my order and waited for 15 minutes, during which I was the only customer there. Unfortunately, I noticed that the staff in the back seemed more focused on goofing off rather than preparing orders. In fact, three other customers arrived after me and were served before I received my food. After waiting for 15 minutes, the staff member looked at me and asked, "What are you waiting for?" I replied, "My food."

Additionally, I feel it’s important to address the use of gloves in food preparation. Gloves are meant to maintain sanitary conditions, but if staff members are touching their faces, they should be replacing their gloves with clean ones before handling food.

I believe this situation indicates a need for retraining among the staff to ensure better service and adherence to health guidelines.

Oh, and one more thing, they are always out of bread bowls.

Worst Panera ever. First of all the card machine wouldn’t read my card via chip nor by swipe. that was a little frustrating. The young man working was very nice though and said it was having problems.. If you plan on tipping don’t. First of all for grown men and women they sure do act like teenagers back there not hardly doing a thing but slacking off. Yes you should have fun at work but should be able to do your job as well. I ordered Mac and cheese and I got cold Mac and cheese soup. If I wanted soup I would have ordered soup. Half the noodles were not even cooked thoroughly so they were tough. As soon as I opened it and saw how watery it was then soon to follow the taste.. I wanted to run back in but I was on the road and didn’t want to deal with it. Also what is up with the bread at this location as well. It’s not that yummy crisp flavorful bread you get at all the other paneras.. anyways I’ll never be back to this location. Not worth time or money to...

I go to this Panera very often, and I have been since about 2003. I find the staff to be super friendly (they know me on a first-name basis). The environment is perfect for a quiet start to your morning, or a relaxed lunch perhaps with colleagues or friends, or of course dinner or a semi-late night snack. The restaurant is always clean, as are the restrooms, and the outdoor seating is great. I've seen many friends here (sometimes by coincidence) and it's really a fresh environment for people of all ages.

I'm a very picky eater, and Panera's selection and health choices cater to my tastes perfectly. I like a lot of their sandwiches and especially the pastries. I cannot remember a single occasion where they messed up my order, and it's always reasonably fast (they do get busy often but they are very efficient).

I'll always be going to this Panera for a great meal. Huge thank you to the super friendly staff and...
