Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Kansas

Sadly I have not had any good experiences here. When it first opened I attributed their rushed and unfriendly demeanor as new establishment kinks, but I returned today and it definitely wasn’t any better. The young staff were flustered. They were not finishing with each family before taking the order of the person next in line. So it would throw the cue off, then when I ordered they forgot to add my protein to my bowl- but didn’t forget to charge me for carnitas. Lastly the cashier, and older woman, was gruff and short with us. When I considered (after all this) if we would eat in or take to go, I considered it may be better to just leave. No one was in the dining room. She answered loudly and with attitude… “so which one was it? For here or to go??!” I clearly said to-go. Why would we stay? She also gave instructions to the guy on the line when I asked for sour cream, “a little— don’t fill it up all the way. Only give her like half.” Wow. It culminated with discovering I had no protein in my carnitas bowl. And of course, I don’t want to drive 20 minutes to have them fix it. When I called and spoke to Curdy, the manager. He was nonchalant and said, “oh wonderful thanks for telling us, my friend.” I told him he shouldn’t speak so casually to customers. Not to mention there was no indication of any kind of action bedsides providing me with a phone number to call corporate. Sadly that’s what I needed to do. What happens? Chipotle used to be such a treat! Between Moe’s and Chipotle we always considered Chipotle to have quality food, but sadly their service is so poor at this location, that unless someone tells me their has been a complete retraining, we won’t be returning to the Greenwich location. Disgusting and inexcusable dining room! Arrived to pick up a to go order from inside and upon walking in, found the dining room floor covered in food, dumped off tables, dirty tables, overflowing trash cans, Dirty counter at the cash register covered in pieces of cheese, water, and moisture around the cash register, and the payment kiosk. There is absolutely no excuse for this level of filth inside of a restaurant. No, they were not too busy to clean up! In fact, the entire weight staff was standing behind the prep counter, socializing, and doing nothing. They were just standing there waiting for a customer to walk in. I hope management sees this review and provides direction training to the weight staff in regards to the cleanliness of the restaurant and prep area register area, and dining room area areas. There’s no excuse for weight staff to be standing behind the counter, hanging out in a filthy restaurant. This is what customers are paying for I think not. I will take my business over to Hawaiian Brothers.! I tried coming back here to change something different but now Hawaiian Brothers is much cleaner. The weight staff is friendly and they take pride in their jobs and in the establishment!!! Just disgusting and the food wasn’t even good either it was off tasting. This chipotle needs to be avoided at all cost, they can’t even wrap a burrito lmao! And no I didn’t get crazy amount of topping, I got my standard chipotle order. A burrito with rice, beans, carnitas, lettuce, cheese, then pico and corn. I’ve gotten it many times, they genuinely added way to much stuff themselves to the point it looks like a mound of food. The guy making it also was mushing the toppings together with his hands? Wack. I’ve never in my entire life seen that before. If you have to do that don’t you think you might be adding to much? 😀

if you ever do end up here get a bowl cause they give out this stuff like it’s candy! If got a bowl Then I’d be fine I guess but I reap what I sow and get a burrito from them expecting to be a wrapped up one.

Then It took way more time than usual to get it in a nearly empty restaurant cause he kept stopping to do other things, which is fine. I understand he has other things to do at work! But if your gonna take that long at least make it nice?

Then I go to check out as they wrapped up my burrito, didn’t see how it they tried to wrap but I’m guessing they didn’t even attempt. When I got back home and sat down to unwrap it. It immediately starts to fall apart, it looks like a comically large taco. How do you even pull that off?
