The ales, oh, the ales! Each sip is an odyssey of flavor, a journey that begins with a delicate, frothy head that yields to the effulgent golden nectar beneath. The initial taste, a symphony of malt and hop, dances upon the palate with a complexity that rivals the finest of wines. As the beer glides smoothly down, it leaves a lingering aftertaste that is both a reminder of the present pleasure and a beckoning call for another sip.
Beyond the unparalleled libations, the beer garden itself is a tapestry of delight. The gentle hum of a nearby brook adds a serene counterpoint to the lively chatter, while strategically placed fire pits cast a warm, inviting glow that encourages long, languid evenings of laughter and storytelling. The garden's flora, a lush mosaic of vibrant blooms and verdant greenery, creates an enchanting backdrop that is both invigorating and soothing to the soul.
In this paradisiacal enclave, every detail is a testament to the pursuit of perfection. From the exquisitely crafted beer steins that glint with an inviting sheen to the plush seating that cradles one in comfort, the beer garden exudes an air of effortless sophistication. Read moreUpdated May 2025 - still disappointing. Not what I was expecting and I think they really missed a chance here. This is bascially a very expensive kids playground, where you can get a beer. HORRIBLE PARKING to greet you... and it only gets worse. The place was not even half full and parking was a quarter mile walk along a two lane road with no sidewalk... how are these families OK with this? It's a beautiful facility with no parking, no shade, no real sports watching, and not worth the trip for actual adults. I think they were going for a Bavarian beer garden feel, but they really didn't pay attention to how the Germans and Austrians build beer gardens. This place is great if it was in the mountains with cooler temperatures, but it is poorly designed for Texas weather even though there are four sizeable spaces. The 1) indoor beer bar (credit card only, no table service, limited menu) has good AC and plenty of TVs, but the line to get a beer is ridiculous. There is a good amount of indoor tables (mostly full when I was there), but very limited bar seating even though the bar is huge. 2) The outdoor garden has no tvs, zero table service, zero umbrellas or shade. There were three food trucks and a snowball stand and the food isn't great. I had the $28.00, three meat plate BBQ and there are 10 better places for food around here, so don't go hungry/for the food. 3) An outdoor second floor patio... which was just empty. No people, no tvs, no services and no shade of any kid. 4) An indoor 'cocktail bar' is an awesomely empty space. No tvs, no lights, and no people (five people where in there when I was there). I guess it was meant to be a lounge type of area... but with that many kids, terrible parking, no reason to hang out in that space, it's just place to go cool off with the kickass AC. I hope they make tasty cocktails, but I didn't try any. If you happen to drive by when their actual parking lot has space available, it is worth checking out... but don't go hungry, and if you don't have kids or pets this place isn't really the...
Read moreWe hosted an event here for our friends, and unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing. When I reserved the covered patio for 40 people, I was never informed that we would only have half of the space and that we would be sharing the other half with another party. Not only was the space too small for our group, but this was a major detail that I was never told—despite the manager insisting otherwise. This lack of communication should have been a red flag, as responses from the manager were slow throughout the entire planning process.
they did provide us with some extra tables and chairs, which we appreciated, and the staff helped us move them. However, another major issue was the drink tickets we had discussed with the manager. She mentioned this was a common option for events, yet we never received them. At that point, we gave up and just started our own tabs.
To make matters worse, several guests had disappointing, SEPARATE encounters with the bartenders. they were incredibly rude, acting as if serving us was an inconvenience. When we asked about purchasing a bottle of wine (which is listed on their menu), they told us they do not sell bottles, which was half correct because it was served in a carafe, not even a decanter. the bartender repeatedly emphasized the price of the bottle as if we didn’t know what we ordered or couldn’t afford it. Given the price of our tab, we clearly weren’t concerned about the cost, we were here to celebrate. The attitude from the staff was completely unnecessary but aligns well with the attitude of management.
Throughout the entire event, not a single manager checked in to see if everything was going smoothly. Maybe that’s their standard practice, but as someone who has worked eight years in hospitality, fine dining, and hotels, I can confidently say that following up with booked events is key to ensuring repeat business.
It’s a shame because they have great cocktails (just don’t order the Old Fashioned), but after this experience, I will never host an...
