If you ever find yourself in Katy, Texas, you've got to check out this hidden gem - the MKT (Missouri, Kansas and Texas) Railroad Museum. A group of super passionate folks picked up the place for just $25 (I mean, come on!) and poured their heart and soul into bringing it back to life.

Katy (cane island) has lot of stories to tell. This place once called rice and oil capitol of the world. But rice did not stand in the competition. oil is still ruling.
This museum has the depot that is historical corrected building and carefully built structure that serves the purpose of getting us to the past.
There is a telegraph station, old Red caboose car and the station clock for visitors.
Benches are there for relaxing and lawn for kids to walk around and enjoy the place.
