Located in a gas station strip center, this place had all the authentic trappings of a taco stand with the comfort, bigger menu, and hospitality of a sit down restaurant. Everything tasted fresh and made with love, and all we had was breakfast tacos. Fresh tortillas and the cinnamon notes in the coffee sealed the deal. My wife, her friend, and I were the first three people seated for the day, but our server still ran around tending to us as if the restaurant were full of hungry guests. It was charming and spoke volumes. My wife and her friend have breakfast here together every week, and I’m grateful to have been invited to this humble little spot. Can’t wait to come back for dinner one day.

The street taco plate at Taqueria Fiesta Jaliciense in Katy is an absolute delight for the taste buds. With each bite, you're transported to the vibrant streets of Mexico. The soft corn tortillas are filled with perfectly seasoned meats, such as tender marinated carne asada or succulent grilled chicken. The toppings of fresh cilantro, diced onions, and a squeeze of lime add a burst of freshness and acidity. The flavors meld together harmoniously, creating a symphony of taste. Served with a side of tangy salsa and creamy guacamole, this street taco plate is a true culinary gem that will leave you craving for more.

I only have gone once, I was looking for something yummy but on a budget. I ended up getting the burrito with fajita meat and for the price it was very delicious! There was a generous portion of tomatoes and lettuces im used to a little less in comparison to fajita meat butt once again, for the price? I thought it was great and tasty! It's a cute little restaurant tucked into the corner of E 5th St and Katyland Dr. The map says a different name so don't get confused but the actual signage is correct. I definitely will be back to try out some Caldo de Res or perhaps a breakfast option in the future

I am not the type to write a review unless you really do something to piss me off. Which happened this past Sunday at this place and don’t want anyone else to experience the same.

We arrived as we normally do about 4-5 x a month since my husband is a big fan of one plate that they prepare here and it’s the closest to our church.

We arrived and sat down in a half booth half table (I chose the booth because I have a really bad back with constant pain) we ordered our drinks/food all seems well.

As I was looking at the table I told my husband you know what ? We may fit fine now but when the food arrived the food may not we should push the table next to us to our table and that way all fits.

So we proceed to do so. As soon as the server comes she looks at me and says “you moved the table ? Why would you do that? You can’t do that this is not our house? You need to ask!” And looked at us as if we literally had just done the worse in history.

This is the type of thing where is not what you say is how you said it.

She speaks to you as if you were an idiot and you don’t understand the language. The most disrespectful server I’ve ever seen. (Mind you I was a server from 15-23) my sister is also a server so I know exactly the rules/regulations and how to treat a customer and when you as a client is in the wrong. Maybe i was in the wrong and i should have asked but you dont speak to anyone this way.

After that tone, I said I am sorry just give me my tab for what we drank we are going to leave you are not going to speak to me as if I am an idiot in front of my kids and family.

Mind you over a table that was empty - which the whole restaurant was empty she probably had about 5 tables occupied the rest of them were empty is not like we were keeping her from making money she was just rude disrespectful and her ego is way more important to her than any client that may stop by.

She then proceed to ask while I was paying my drinks: do you do this at Olive Garden?

I said ma’am we go out to eat about 4 times a week as we are on a fast schedule with 4 kids and our lives are hectic no we don’t do that at OG because they proceed to do that for you because their customer service is outstanding. They don’t wait for me to do it.

I said can I speak to your manager? She said I am the owner and I don’t want you to come back here again.

I proceed to tell her oh wait you thought I was coming back?

Anyways, as I went back to read other reviews ….. this is not the first incident this woman has had with people she treats everyone rudely. She rather lose you as a client then to accommodate you or speak to you in a calmly manner. I was not asking to eat at her desk in her office or eat for free I was asking for an extra table as the table of 4 was not going to be enough for 6 clearly.

It sucks that this place is being ran by someone who was such poor customer service because the place over all has good potential.

Save your time, money...

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant/place for a few years even when it was previously owned/operated and under a different name. To say that I am disappointed and highly dissatisfied and insulated by the treatment my family and I received today is beyond words. My sister asked if the fans could be turned off as the food would get cold fast and the pointed and cold reply was “we can’t touch the fans” it’s not so much what was said it’s how it was said. We have seen this waitress/owner treat others with such dryness and borderline rude attitude. The waitress I am describing is light skin and dark/black hair heavier set than the other two (I don’t know her name hence the description - not intended to be rude at all - name on the receipt shows Anahi but someone else checked us out) but she is not the friendliest - even upon first contact she is dry - like she is even bothered to be there. She proceeded to take down the order for two additional guest that arrived last minute but was just extremely rude and her attitude changed for that simple question/request. We proceeded to move to another much smaller table with less space for a party of 5. Based on the reviewed that I’ve seen and the level of unprofessionalism and how they go toe to toe with guest I can only imagine what type of reply I’ll be getting here. This is a customer service driven industry… there is always a way to say something and get your...

Im gonna start off by saying, that I expected way more of this place and i was highly disappointed. Don’t come here if you want a poor service experience. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I came in with a water bottle to take my medication with and had set my water down on the table, an employee rudely says that I can’t have a water bottle with me for some reason, and denied me service because of it. This place already doesn’t have many clients, and I was going to pay for a meal. They should’ve had no problem serving me and I leave great tips!! As a fellow Mexican I was sad that they would treat their clients in such a poor manner and going as far as kicking me out for a water bottle even though I was remaining calm and collected. I know for a fact I am not mixing up locations because I have been coming here since this place was owned by much nicer Mexicans and the place was called “Taqueria Jamay” hasta la comida tenía más sabor y no estaba amarga como las mujeres que trabajan ahí. You guys can do better!!! I recommend Tacos La Bala or Taqueria el Toluca!

Edit: You know I’m not lying because not only has it happened to several others, but they’re even rude in the reviews that they reply to! Wow Jesus help these...
