I am incredibly disappointed about my treatment today. There was poor communication of what to expect for the delivery. The person who was texting with me seemed not to understand that what was being offered—A call and text saying that they were on the way was contingent upon a response in a certain time frame, was different than what I as a customer expected to receive —A call or text saying that someone was on the way, and then I meet them when they arrived, cash in hand. Had I been told that delivery would be contingent upon my immediate response to a call or text message, perhaps I could have planned better to have my phone on me in the restroom during a toilet emergency. Or better still, I would have known that the outcome was that I would not get my delivery.
Ultimately, the communication was poorly executed before the delivery left the shop, “hey we are going to need you to reconfirm this delivery before you can receive this product” and was unreasonably executed when the moving pieces were added in “Hey as we spoke about before, your delivery cannot be made if you are unreachable with XX time frame”. Read moreI bought a refrigerator, dryer and washer from them. The problem I had was with the refrigerator. They had to repair it more than 4 times in less than 4 months. They then sent a loaner refrigerator and that one wasn't working properly. So we finally decided to just permanently switch the refrigerator out. So the new one was roach infested. I have NEVER had roaches in my house EVER. I told them to get the refrigerator out. Luckily the roaches are gone too. I ended up getting a refund for the refrigerator. The big lady in the office had an attitude with me when I asked for my refund and told her about the roaches. I left my kids in the car with the ac on due to them not coming into their warehouse with the covid. She was upset that I didn't shut the door and I told her no I have to watch my car my kids are in there. She then said well I have a camera but it didn't cover where my car was and plus I needed to hear and see what was going on even though they are 9yrs. She then spelled my name wrong on the check and got mad because I said I wasn't waiting on a new check. I had to wait for them to get the cash. The one thing I can say was that they tried to fix it, Jeremiah was excellent. The others are trash. Only get washers and dryers from them if all other options fail. Stay away from...
Read moreWe needed a washer and dryer as soon as possible, but wherever we went to look for appliances, they were out of stock or too expensive. Back orders left, right, and center. So we started looking for used appliances. Almost by accident, after looking for 2 days, we found Houston Appliance. Getting someone to answer the phone was a little tricky, but once we were able to talk to someone we were told that there was a selection available. We were able to get the washer and dryer we wanted, they delivered them for an acceptable fee, and hauled away our old appliances as well. And there is a 2 year warranty on both machines. But wait! There's more! The dryer malfunctioned after three weeks. We called to ask what could be done. They sent out a repairman the next day. He said there was nothing he could do unless he brought it back to the warehouse. However, he could bring us a temporary replacement or a permanent replacement: our choice. We told him we would like a permanent replacement. He brought the replacement the next day and hauled off the other machine.
