(𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙚) 🥠𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗲 I’m genuinely dumbfounded as to this location’s high ratings on this review platform – 4.5 stars?!!! (I should’ve checked the o/review platform – 3.7) Anyhoo… based on my experience, Pei Wei doesn’t throw out, it takes out – in other words, takeout orders must get the leftovers.

I try to give positive reviews when I can, but I spent $60+ on 4 orders of noodles and 4 egg rolls, and unfortunately, it wasn’t very good food. Noodles were swimming in what tasted like syrup… and a couple of pieces of chicken. I’ve never had lo mein in a syrup like that. And I’m not supposed to have sugar. So I was trying to find something without a sugary sauce. I felt like I ate several candy bars after I ate it. And I didn’t even eat very much. I couldn’t. It wasn’t very good. I’m so sorry, but I think maybe some changes need to be made. I’ve had positive experiences a Pei Wei’s other locations. Also, for those of us looking for a healthier option, Pei Wei needs to come up with some more options. I ordered from this place via Door Dash. This was the worst food I've ever had at Pei Wei. I haven't eaten at one in years since they closed the location near Spring Green and Westpark tollway. I was glad to see this location and decided to give it a try, a big mistake on my part. I had chicken and broccoli, and the sauce tasted like they used a spoon for another sauce for mine, and overall, the taste was bad, and I threw it out after a couple of bites. My husband's orange chicken tasted like bread bites, and the meat he had tasted like pork, not chicken, and the sauce tasted like a combo of orange and another sauce. He threw his out also.
