Read moreLet me first say that my rating of a 3 is solely due to the logistics of their online ordering service for the juicing cleanse. The juice flavors are 5 out of 5 and the customer service is also 5 out of 5. I've done cleansing for over 10 years primarily with 2 other major juicing companies one in Houston and the other in New York. So I have a bit of experience ordering juice cleanse online. This is my 2nd time ordering with Main Squeeze. The first time occurred with no issue, so I thought I would try them again. The second time was a totally different experience. I was called on the day that I was supposed to pick up my 3 day cleanse and was informed that they ran out of most of the juices that I had selected. This was a Sunday and I planned to start my 3 day cleanse on Monday as I prefer to complete my cleanse at the beginning of the week. Mind you I ordered my cleanse the previous Wednesday, which I think should give them plenty of time to ensure that my order could be fulfilled. I was told that I would have to pick up my cleanse the next day, because their juicer would be there to prepare the missing juices and they would call me by 3pm when my order is ready. I agreed and figured I could cleanse on T, W, Th instead...I mean it's just 1 day difference. Well the next day at almost 4pm I had received no call, so I decided to call myself. The young lady who answered was very nice and tried so graciously to help me, but did not have any awareness about my order or that I was waiting for a call. Once she was able to find my order, she then told me that they were out of all of the Mylks. I was told that I could pick up my juices today, but I would have to wait until Tuesday or Wednesday to pick up the Mylks. Now if anyone has ever completed a cleanse you know that each drink is essential to the entire cleanse process. I also do not want to have to make 2 trips for an order that should have been fulfilled the previous day. I then asked what was the purpose of ordering in advance if there was no guarantee that the juice cleanse ordered would be available. She then advised me to order no greater than 2 days in advance or to call so I could verify that my juices would be available. From a logistics perspective this does not make sense. 1) I order online for convenience, so calling to place my order takes the entire convenience out of the experience 2) Why allow someone to place orders 2 days in advance if you are likely to run out of juices and cannot guaruntee what the customer has already purchased. Do the drinks taste better than the other well known juicing company in Houston...Yes - Main Squeeze has way more variety and quite frankly taste much better. Is the customer service better...Yes - the fact that they have several store fronts with very friendly workers is an added bonus. Is the logistics and convenience of online ordering better...No - They definitely have more work to do in this department. I will definitely try them again as I believe every company deserves the opportunity to evolve, but I wanted to give my honest feedback in hopes that they improve on this process. That would definitely make them a 5...
Morgan asked if I wanted strawberries in my açaí bowl, I said yes. Than something asked me to clarify, I asked if the strawberries typically come with the açaí bowl and she said it’s an add on. I than asked if there was an upcharge, she said yes $1. I removed the strawberries.
Secondly, at the window I was immediately asked for my phone number, which I thought was odd, but non the less, I gave that info. Immediately after that, I was asked for a name, which made me feel uncomfortable that I was being asked for personal information (I was doing to give one, bit you typically aren't asked for things). I hesitantly have my name, but was very close to telling her no. After entering my info into the system V she than disclosed that it was for a rewards program to receive "free stuff". If I wanted to sign up for rewards I would have asked to be signed up, instead this was forced and I was very uncomfortable with the interaction and felt somewhat tricked.
Next, after giving hey my credit card, she swiped it, and held on to it the entire time my food was being prepared, which was several minutes. Typically when you're at checkout, the merchant will swipe your card, and give it back to you immediately. I didn't get my card back until I received my bowl and order to go, which made me even more uncomfortable, as I couldn't see where my card was in the interim time. I'm not sure if this is a company policy, or a simple lack of training, but I feel this would be addressed immediately.
Moving on, I was hopeful that at least my acai bowl would be delicious, unfortunately it did not, and was overly sweet and the acai did not taste fresh. I was truly going the food would be the redeeming part of my visit, instead it solidified that main squeeze will not be another establishment I return to visit.

Read moreMy Current Review: When we first moved to the area we loved Main Squeeze. We made weekly trips and each week our transactions totaled about $180-240. As time progressed the quality of the juices went down. Initially it was just out of stock products, but then we began to get several juice that were spoiled days before their printed bottle date. We have gone back randomly on 5 occasions to try them out again hoping things are back to the way they were, but unfortunately no such luck. I visited a few days ago and decided to try them out again by purchasing 6 juices and about 7 or 8 cure shots. Well sadly only one juice was drinkable. Not only did we waste our money, but we had never had this many bad products in one trip. The cure shots have also changes again as they didnt taste fresh. Three of the juices began to fizz like a shaken soda when I opened it (Vitality), one juice has a very bitter rotten taste (although the bottle indicated it needs to be sold by tomorrow (6/5/23). We aren't angry just very disappointed. Unsure if this is happening because of the high turnover or just faulty protocol but its unacceptable. Such a shame because we really liked this place. The green protein smoothie was our favorite.
