Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Katy

What an enjoyable experience I had today at this Shipleys’ location. I was attended by Carmen. She was very nice and great customer service. I ordered a sausage jalapeño cheese kolache and a hot chocolate. It wasn’t until after I paid for my two items I noticed they had a pumpkin flavor donut for a limited time. She offered one to me as a complimentary gift and if I liked it, I could order it next time I come. That was sooo nice of her to do! It was actually really good and very moist. I will definitely be back before this yummy seasonal flavor is gone. And I’ll be back mainly because Carmen was great with customer service and also, the place is clean...

We are a large family and were excited to have our favorite donut shop come up closer to home. BUT everytime we go they NEVER have Hot, fresh donuts. Worth the drive every time to the Cinco Ranch location, 2nd closest....and ALWAYS have Hot, fresh donuts and amazing customer service. Hoping it's just a learning process for the new location owners and looking forward for improvement so we can contribute to our local community business. Btw, I asked once and their excuse was they close the donut machine early, no other locations do that and continue to succeed and provide hot, fresh...

It's a pretty good chain donut shop! Most of team strike that balance of sweet but not sickening, and their filled donuts come with just the right amount of filling.

If you've got a major sweet-tooth, though, go with the Bullseye. It is essentially a donut cupcake, and it was a great idea.

There is also a very nice guy working here that is incredibly personable and charming- I missed his name, but it was just him mid-day on a Saturday and my friend and I probably spent 15 minutes just chatting with him and swapping fun facts before we left. Definitely made it worth going...
