Choose another sonic location unless you have time to waste and if you like horrible trash customer service. I stop by this location and there was literally only two cars that was there when i pulled up and i thought that i would be able to order my food and be done in a timely manner. I was totally wrong. I press the red button to let the staff know i was ready to order and was told some one would be right with me but the person who answered the order was to careless to see that she left the ordering device on and i could hear everything that they saying and basically she delivered someone else order and went back inside to argue with her coworkers about not going to be the only person taking orders, then she realized that the device was still on and turned off Mind you I'm still waiting for someone to come back to take my order. By then four more cars come in. I waited patiently because i was told someone would be right with me and on the screen it said red button activated someone would be right with you, wrong! While waiting i notice one of the employees family member or friend drive up and the employee comes out , talks to them, and then another employee brings them out food and a drink without them ever pressing the button to order or even paying. The staff also overlooked me while waiting and took the other cars who came in after me and i had already been there for about ten minutes. I also heard an employee laughing over the speaker because she couldn't understand a customer order and i said to myself, "wow what great customer service ". I’ve lived in Katy and tried this location several times over the last 5 years and every single time I come by I SWEAR I will never come back. It’s run down and the parking lot is ATROCIOUS!!! It desperately needs repaving as it’s riddled with huge potholes, always has been, and it’s a shame on the ownership to let it remain so poorly attended to. Likewise, many call boxes/menus are constantly out of order so it’s totally hit or miss choosing one. Today I pushed the call button and waited OVER 10 minutes for someone to answer so I could order, the call box said “red button activated- we will be with you shortly” but yet every other car who arrived after me was attended to/being answered, so I just finally assumed my menu box wasn’t actually working. Yet in all that time sitting there, not a single staff member bothered to walk out and check on me or see if I needed help even though I was just sitting there as they were coming and going. So I left and never even ordered food. Total waste of my lunch break to sit there waiting and not even get to order food. A prior experience I’ve had was similar, waited over 10 minutes to give my order and another 15+ minutes before lackluster food was delivered. Wayyy too long a wait even during a lunch time rush. It’s ALWAYS so dang slow it amazes me. And the food is unimpressive. Read moreAfter trying their Ultimate Meat and Cheese burrito about a month ago, I fell in love with it. My first experience at a different location was spectacular and I had been looking for a breakfast burrito that would replace the one that Jack in the Box got rid of last year.
This location is near my work and convenient. However, they have ripped me off close to 6 times now. When I first got the burrito a month ago, it was dripping with cheese sauce. Not too much, but they definitely weren't holding back. Then I try it at this location and all but once, I have received a dry burrito. Even after I pay extra for more sauce. They STILL hardly put any on. In fact, out of 6 times, the burrito has been nearly dry. The last time I was there, I said something and the guy said he remembered my order and would make sure they put extra. They didn't!
I mean, the extra cost isn't a lot, but it's the principle of the thing; they know I want more and pay more and they're too careless, lazy, or cheap to give what I ask for. How do they KEEP messing it up? Is their cook incompetent? Can't read? What's the problem? It's a very simple request. And it's ridiculous that I pay extra to get what I got with the standard burrito the first time without having to ask. Now, we're getting into dishonesty territory. They know I get my food on the go and I can't do anything about it in the moment.
