Vintage Back Roads — Local services in Katy

Edit: Our money was refunded. However, my address and phone number were shared on Facebook by this business. There is no excuse for this, and they have continued to show now regard for my personal information. Do not trust this business with your personal information.

We placed an order for custom paint of a set of nightstands with matching dresser that was to be completed by 6/15. We paid a non-refundable deposit. After 6/15 when I had not heard anything, I contacted to find out when I should expect it to be done. I was told there was a paint shortage and would be done by the end of the month. After hearing nothing, I contacted again on July 4 for an update. We scheduled delivery for July 15. Only July 14 there was a leak in their storage unit and I was contacted because the dresser was ruined. I was offered a nicer dresser to replace it, which I accepted. I was told the nightstands were complete and the new dresser would be done in a few days. After 1 week and no contact, I asked when it should be done. I was told the dresser was bleeding through, but it would be no more than a week to fix and be ready. After another week and not hearing anything, I asked if it was ready, and if not I asked for a refund. It is more than a month and a half after the furniture was supposed to be done and it is no longer a matching set. I have never been contacted after the dates they say it should be done. I was given multiple excuses for why it is not complete after reaching out. Now I assume they will not complete the order or give a refund after a phone call where I was "insulting" by saying that I wanted pictures before paying the final balance because I didn't believe the furniture was actually done this time...

March 2024 Well bless their heart.. I would like to clarify, five star rating for the outside vendors hard work and outstanding artistry that they have provided. The vendors definitely deserve better representation and credit for their merchandise.

The finished product arrived 4+ months after purchased and paid for in full. Also, it didn’t arrive on the scheduled delivery date as promised and was missing pieces when it finally arrived. Luckily the extremely kind and friendly vendors Laurie & Lou that delivered it returned with the missing pieces the same day and even went out of their way to install them. The interior was just spray-painted in the shop without sanding nor priming beforehand within a couple days instead of hand-painted like I was originally informed. This caused splotches, streaks, debris, mottling and overspray on the exterior of the original vendor Elizabeth’s exquisite artwork and beautiful design.

The saga continues with her KARENY complete delusion of lies of a reply to my none threatening review, but it ends here and now, my truth has been spoken..

This family owned shop negative 5 stars! But who am I to judge, if you don’t believe me just read the other reviews or if you dare become another unsatisfied victim.

Also, if you have the time my factual response and completely truthful timeline of events are displayed in the photos due to Googles...

I'm writing this review to Vintage Back Roads in response to a review posted 6 days ago on Jan.27th. My first name is Paul but most everyone I know doesn't know that. That being said I want everybody to know that I Paul/Eddy Morgan DID NOT write the derogatory review posted by the fake Paul Morgan on Vintage Back Roads Google site, with the cropped picture of me from Megan's Facebook page from our family picture. Megan is by no means ignorant, and is never rude to the customers. She's polite, and professional that takes exceptional pride in Vintage Back Roads. It isn't any wonder with the three best in Katy awards she's received the last three years in a row. I personally give the Vintage Back Roads 5 stars for the quality of services the store provides. Megan does her best every day to serve and treat each and every custom with dignity, respect, professionalism. Sean and David (Rexberry Luxury Wedding and Events), I know you two to posted this ugly review, along with the other two bad reviews made the same day and day before. You two are the ignorant and rude ones, it's obvious you have nothing better to do with your lives. You two need to get a life and go away, but we all know you probably won't cause you can't help yourselves in your miserable useless lives. And just so you know Google's...
