Katy Crossing — Restaurant in Katy

🔸️I've been a few times, but this review is specifically based on the service I received on my last visit🔸️

I went with friends for a mini celebration, and to our surprise the place was SLAMMED. We were immediately greeted by Nancy, who worked a miracle to gather enough chairs to accommodate our group and begin to serve us. Understandably the waits for the drinks were quite lengthy, but Nancy kept us updated and got them to us asap and continued this impressive service throughout our meal. She navigated through the crowd like a pro, keeping a smile on her face in what was no doubt a super stressful environment. I just have to brag about her service!

Nancy has taken care of us a few times in the past and her service always goes above and beyond, and this time was particularly commendable where I felt the need to write this review. The bar has nice vibes, tasty drinks, & great bands, and Nancy is a standout who always makes our experience a great one....

I’m a local. This is not an Icehouse for locals. The drink pricing is more in line with a restaurant which brings me to my next issue. Only have food trucks and even that is not incorporated into the bar for ordering purposes. It’s 12:30, prime lunchtime and still the food truck is not open. I hope they can make it on weekend shoppers but there looks to be a huge investment here that needs to be recovered. Found this place just driving by since we were planning to go to the Katy Beer Garden but the parking was ridiculous there at the beer garden so I was so glad we found Katy Crossing Icehouse. Nancy provides excellent service to our group and the cocktails they prepare are spot on. Also the bottoms up beer draft system is cool to see when sitting at the bar.
