What a beautiful hidden gem in old Katy. I've visited this store a couple times in the last year and each experience has been wonderful. The first time, I originally went in looking for a specific style of dress and when I couldn't find it, I focused on their jewelry section. I saved some pics of earrings and a tiara I liked and figured I would come back another time. Enter COVID. I didn't do any wedding planning for a year but I visited stores to look at their jewelry selection. Every bridal salon I went to (which is at least 10) seems to sell you plastic-type jewelry that's ridiculously overpriced just because they put the word "bridal" in front of it. At Fiancée their jewelry actually has some weight to it! The jewelry genuinely feels bridal and actually worth your money- unlike the flimsy pieces you find at other shops.

The salon is well kept, it's clean, and the employees are very inviting. Compared to Weddings by Debbie, Fiancée is a smaller shop with a much bigger heart. I recently went to Weddings by Debbie to simply have a look at the jewelry and when I walked in, the lady at the front desk handed me her card and bluntly told me "appointments only." Mind you, the store was empty (this was right after the winter storm and virtually no one was there) and I only wished to browse the jewelry section. After being abruptly denied, I went straight to Fiancée where Michelle greeted me with a smile, told me to take my time, and answered all my questions. Luckily, the earrings I saw in my first visit were still there and when I mentioned I saw them months earlier, she gave me a discount! The difference in customer service was night and day and I'm so happy to have found this adorable shop. Although I didn't get my dress from here, their wedding dress selection is beautiful and so are their veils. Do yourself a favor and go check...

I’m changing my review. I went to pick up my dress today and they had ordered the wrong size. I was trusting the consultant Madeline someone I considered an expert on this kind of stuff to order the right size. I had a conversation with her about weight fluctuation before I even ordered the dress. So I TRUSTED her opinion, TRUST! Today the dress didn’t fit, they took no responsibility they blamed me and body shamed me. The other girl even had the audacity to say, “you can just sell the dress” the owner called me she did not take responsibility either. I feel body shamed and pray no plus size bride has to deal with this situation ever. I have been in tears all day over this and they aren’t doing anything to make it right except give me excuses. I will warn all women to stay away from here. They are NOT plus size friendly. They just want your money.

Update: I went to my doctor and confirmed I had not gained any weight since purchasing my dress. I didn’t. They literally did the sizing completely wrong, be very weary of this place!

Update 10/10: No this shop never made their wrong right or took accountability, they were hateful and rude. But I did find a tailor to fix the dress for me and on wedding day I looked beautiful. Had this shop AT LEAST taken accountability and not try to blame the sizing on me and maybe even hooked me up with a good tailor, those simple actions would have gone a long way!!! But they didn’t even do me the curtsy and put me under tremendous stress! Thank god that the dress was able to be resized by a wonderful tailor I had to...

I cant say enough about my visit! I had no idea what shape...size..color dress I was looking for...I just knew I needed a dress! I went with my Maid of honor and the rest of my family and friends on Facetime. We arrived & met Alexis...let me tell you I knew she had good taste because she was dressed fly! She had 3 dresses ready for me...THE VERY FIRST DRESS I TRIED ON ...I was 99% sure it was the one...I was almost disappointed by how easy it was ...So I wanted to keep trying on the ones she picked.. the 2nd dress was ok but...not quite the 1st...The 3rd dress....the 3rd dress broke me down...it was my dress!! I cried...this was THE ONE! I tried on 1 more dress after that it was beautiful but not mine! They have a beautiful selection....but Alexis made the experience! I encourage you to bring ur champagne....a couple glasses and your girls...some tissue too !! Because you will find your dress & you will cry -❤- I cant wait to get my dress back!!! Did I mention the 20% off I got for booking my appointment on the site? The dress was already super inexpensive....but that really did it!!!! The veil selection was awesome I didnt even think about wearning a veil....now I am! I wish I could give 10 Stars!!! 5...
