T. Jin's China Diner — Restaurant in Katy

As much as I want to chalk it up to a bad night, (I order the same things, the same way anytime I order… they literally can copy and paste my order in the system…always $50-$70 always including tip) however Last night’s order and performance from this place was enough for a review. THE FOOD WAS OFF in the worst way.. there were egg shells in the fried rice dish.. they completely ignored requests on one of the dishes… it was lacking its usual balance of flavor… the fried chicken was more pink like it was barely made internal temperature… I actually called to ask if there was someone else making the food and they said there was not… nor did they acknowledge or accept accountability for the fair exchange of edible food and money in getting my order wrong… but this kicker was today when i got to the sauce on the side and there was melted plastic in it… my hope is it was an off night but this is unfortunate and unacceptable… I don’t return to...

T Jins delivered an outstanding dining experience! We ordered the Mushroom Chicken, Beef Lo Mein, Beef Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and the Chicken Vegetable Egg Rolls—and every single dish was a hit. The egg rolls were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, and the Sweet and Sour Chicken had that classic tangy punch with a satisfying crunch.

The service truly stood out. Despite being the only waiter on the floor, our server stayed on top of drink refills and was incredibly attentive throughout the meal. At one point, he accidentally spilled some sweet and sour sauce on himself—without missing a beat, he changed his shirt and got right back to work with a great attitude and admirable dedication.

Delicious food, excellent service, and a team that clearly cares—T Jins has definitely earned a spot on our go-to list for...

Was our go to Chinese food before and during Covid. They must’ve had an owner change. The food is not quality and when I called the lady told me “no one else complained” WOW. Won’t get anymore of my money but I’m sure they don’t care bc they are feeding others! we ordered general shrimp and it was in greasy soupy sauce - never been that way before. The shrimp tasted like the sea/old. The egg rolls aren’t what they used to be. Find another place that cares about quality and not just making money off of hungry people on the go . Old mgmt / owners were nice the one time I had a mix up and put a credit on my phone number for future order. That’s not the standard...
