My wife and I are staying at the Sheraton Coconut Beach and decided to try their in-house restaurant Moa Moa. We were a little hesitant, because neither of us particularly enjoy cooked fish. We do enjoy sushi quite a lot, but this was listed as a seafood restaurant, and we were afraid that there would not be anything we would particularly enjoy. Also, when we attempted to call down, we couldn’t get a hold of anyone to make a reservation so we were afraid that they would turn it away at the door as well.
Our great experience started when we arrived, and we’re immediately seated without a reservation. They were very understanding and accommodating and even sat us outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. Then came the highlight of our meal, Art Andrew, our server and spirit guide for our Hawaiian adventure. Needless to say our service was impeccable, his recommendations flawless, and his gleefulness infectious. He politely declined our request for him to come home with us in our checked luggage.
I also wanted to mention for those out there concerned with the seafood nature of the restaurant, there are excellent non-seafood options. I personally had the pineapple curry, which was amazing, and my wife had one of the best filet mignon she’d ever eaten in her life. “Parkay”. Of course, to drink we had Mai Tais, recommended by art, and for dessert we had the chocolate cake, also recommended by art. All Amazing! We topped the evening off with pictures of our favorite server and our favorite foods and went back to our hotel room happy and ready for the next day on the most beautiful island set my wife and I had ever seen.
Overall, our experience at Moa Moa was exceptional, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The staff was accommodating, the food was excellent, and the service provided by Art was...

The Steak Frittes with bok choy was excellent. Lots of flavor and so tender. Could've used a few more pieces of veg though... little lacking there. But the ceviche with taro chips made up for it because it was my absolute fave. So yum and refreshing. I could definitely eat that everyday.
But what made this dinner even better was the great service. Our server Celeste and hostess Cheyna were both so friendly and attentive. Will...

The service was impeccable from the hostess who took our family pictures to Art our waiter who was like family by the time we left. We had macadamia encrusted ahi over a bed of Kimchi and pork fried rice and bok choy. Drinks were delicious and the ambience was pleasant we ate outdoors with a view of the pool and the beach beyond. Fire pits and tiki torches lit the outdoor space Just lovely. The previous night I had macadamia nut encrusted mahi mahi....
