Big Daddy's Pizza — Restaurant in Kaysville

It saddens me to write this review as we have loved Big Daddy's Pizza the past three years in Kaysville. However, it seems they are struggling under the new ownership. We ordered two large pizzas, cinnamon sticks, and breadsticks. Everything was disappointing. The pizza dough is very thin now on the pizzas with much less ingredients than before. The cinnamon sticks had so much cinnamon on them they were barely eatable. The breadsticks looked terrible and were all tangled and twisted in a mess in the bag. Most of them were overcooked and crunchy, not soft at all. The flavor was not good either. Also, I should have caught this when I picked them up, but we got a medium instead of a large for one of the large pizzas we ordered and it was a ham and pineapple instead of pepperoni and pineapple like we ordered. It seems more training of employees needs to happen along with just caring for making good food. Again, we were so surprised how poorly everything was compared to before and so very disappointed. We will have to find a different place to go for pizza now. Hoping this review can help the new ownership make changes and get things right going forward. Otherwise, I doubt they will be able to stay...

I used to love going to Big Daddy's in Kaysville but my last experience with this chain will be my last as I was treated quite awful by the only employee working a Saturday night. We had ordered online paid for it and then went to pick it up. When we arrived we were greeted with the statement "we're closed -- we have no dough" thank goodness our order was cancelled but the treatment from this location has been horrible. Sometimes open -- most times not and usually closed at 7pm when door hours say open till 9. Later on that night I still saw the lights on with the open sign still lit up with no customers. I can only imagine as a franchise that your service and quality matches this location. I will be sure to let my businesses know that we do not need to go to this restaurant chain as they don't need our business or our money. I have gone to Big Daddys for years. I have always enjoyed everything they have to offer. But this time was unlike the rest. Thus time i ordered 4 pizzas and all 4 of them were dry. It was almost as if they just didnt put sauce on any of them. There was such a little amount that you could see dough when you lifted the cheese and even the bottom of the cheese was cheese. I called to let them know that someone wasnt doing the sauce properly. I asked for a manager at 8pm and was told he had already gone home for the evening. I was told to call back on Monday and id be able to speak with a manager. This was a Saturday night. So i will be calling on Monday and i really hope they try to make this right. 4 12" pizzas and 2 bubba breads was $45. Thats a lot of money to pay when i couldnt even enjoy it. So again i truly hope they make this right. I will keep this updated and if all is made right, i will certainly give them a 5 star review like i have always felt...
