I have only been to this jack in the box twice, however they have an impressive 100% rate of making me wait 40 minutes for stone cold food with barely any customers coming through.
This is without a doubt a management problem, as once they pulled me into a spot after waiting 30 minutes for the whopping 2 cars in front of me, I saw an order sitting on the counter, for over 10 minutes it sat there just for them to put sauce in it and bring it out to me. Truly staggering incompetence, I can't tell if this was intentional and I somehow pissed off the whole staff in my 3 second of interaction or if some genius behind the counter had to process how to put the sauces in my bag for 45 minutes.
Lastly, the food already being worse as it was stone cold, it couldn't even be consistently bad. I ordered 2 of the chicken wraps, one was cold but fine. The other was also cold, but somehow reeked of FISH?? I was so disgruntled that it didn't process and took a bite, IT TASTED LIKE FISH. How in the world do you mess up putting sauce and a chicken strip in a tortilla so horribly bad?! My only thought is that it was cross contaminated and defrosted next to fish or something? All I know is my truck stunk like fish all the way into the next day.
Whether it's corporate or a franchisee someone needs to wake up, the degenerates you hired to run this place would get more food out if they worked from...
Read moreTen years ago when I lived in Seattle I’d go to Jack every Wednesday for a $0.99 chicken sandwich and two tacos for $0.99. I was crushed when I moved here to find there were no JITB anywhere. So you can imagine my excitement when this place opened up 5 minutes from my house. I just went there for the first time to place my traditional order. I’ll ignore the fact that prices tripled, but telling me at 6pm on a Friday night that you’re “out of tacos”?? How are you out of Tacos already? And then the chicken sandwich has apparently been renamed the Jr Chicken Sandwich or something, and the lady at the cash register had no idea what to order me when I said it’s just a plain chicken sandwich with lettuce. Then the sodas were more water than soda. You need to be ready for the dinner rush at dinner time (not that it was crowded. Plenty of open seats) if you’re going to be a successful business.
The kicker was when I noticed the QR code on the receipt to take a survey. I figured that would be a perfect place to let corporate know about my disappointment. But when I open the QR code it tells me I’ve already taken the survey and can only do it once. Uh…. I’ve literally never been to this location before!
Do better Jack. Asking for the bare minimum of having menu items in stock and soda shouldn’t be too much to ask when you’re charging triple what you...
Read moreI went last night and I’ve had to take near 24 hours to chill out so I don’t cuss while writing this. I spent over 30 minutes in the drive thru line. When I got to the window I’m pretty sure they gave my order to someone else and had to remake it based on the fact that they didn’t have it rung up and seemed to scramble to get it done. I had “freshly made” food and it was luke warm when I bit into my burger. On top of that I had to tell them I didn’t pay and honestly I should’ve just drove off without paying. When the lady took my card to pay she tapped it then set it down and walked away to bag another order, walked back over took another order and walked away again to bag more orders before she realized she hadn’t given me my card back. I can’t see that counter and can’t guarantee my card stayed there the whole time. I will be changing my card and I will NEVER be back to this location. It’s a day later and I’m still furious at that...
