Sad, sad, sad. About the only thing they can't mess up is deep fried. So I recommend those items. Went there tonight and ordered the ghost pepper burrito and some soggy shelled hard taco's. The ghost pepper burrito looked great in the picture and for almost $4 I thought it would be in the ballpark of the picture. This thing had maybe 8 small popcorn shrimp on it. It should be called a shrimp taquito. It was literally as wide as my two fingers. I pointed this sad burrito out to the manager Andre and he began to explain these things never close to the picture (false advertising) and that apparently the cost for popcorn shrimp had skyrocketed somewhere up there with gold and platinum. I suggested he take it off the menu. The taco's were so soggy that my 9 year old who eats his toe skin even said "uugghh" as the shell just flopped open. I have enjoyed taco time for years and this was the last taco time I thought worth going to and sadly that is following suit of all the taco times which eventually mey their demise. I don't mind paying a little higher price than its competitors because the food quality is better, but I can honestly say I would rather go to del taco than eat what I ate tonight. No quality control...
Read moreI have eaten here a few times over the past 20 years.... Every time it's been horrible. I would go, eat terrible food and swear I would never go back, and then 3 or 4 years later I'd give it another try. Two nights ago was one of those "another try" nights. The food was not just terrible.... It was inedible. We tossed it ALL.... The Mexi-fries were cold. Not semi-warm or room temperature.... Cold. My husband's tamale burrito (which I warned him was most likely a bad choice).... Cold. Like, almost refrigerator cold. My two crisp tacos... They were fine for someone I guess... The lettuce was crisp, but the meat was terrible. Zero flavor and a really weird texture. After eating 4 tater tots, 1/3 of a taco and my husband taking 2 bites of his burrito.... It went into the garbage. $10 in the trash.... Glad it wasn't more. Kaysville.... Set some higher standards for yourself and demand better food from this place!! I just know we...
Read moreI've ou been here once and i am very likely to go back despite it not beeing very close to my home. So far it is the nicest most intresting looking taco time i have ever been to. Had we not already filled our recently open position i would have happily offered the young man who attended to me a position working for me. Very friendly quick service. But, the real shocker is despite the quick service, the burritos were not only freshly cooked but actually cooked well. I couldn't belive it.....crisp bean burritos actually crispy but not burnt. I have seen that since taco maker disappeared on 40th, i was supper elated then to bite into the burrito and the beans so flavorful, i could hardly believe it. I'm almost scared to go back in fear that this fast food miracle might be a fluke. The only negative thing i have to say is i ate them to quickly and ordered to many, now i am a...
