The staff has ALWAYS been genuinely friendly and consistent, never having made a mistake whilst also being pleasant to deal with, a cohesive group, efficient, thorough, and building subs with even consistency through the sandwich my orders complicated and customized. Product is undeniably high quality, this coming from an individual being from NYC frequenting the "best deli's in the world." Management must be very effective as staff are seemingly very content working there and doing a great job at their jobs. This has literally been 100% of the time during a time where this is extremely rare. I hear individuals complain about the price. I will be so forward in this review that I insist this is absolutely false. For the price it is literally the best experience from staff to product you can have. Every facet from cleanliness to staff to product their moral agenda is great. Though all staff has been great, today the service provided was from a Todd, whom made a complicated order to near perfection with ingredients spread evenly with great portioning, and a Tomeka with and upbeat personality, kindness and attentiveness that RARELY do I ever see, emphasis on the RARELY. Both during downtime would find tasks that needed to be done earning their wage and seemingly going well above and beyond in a time where that is seemingly a lost art. Compliments to all staff and a management team that has steered the entire team in the right direction. Always a treat. Keep up the great work. You have a frequenting customer that literally has 0 complaints. I will leave you with a partial quote from a ski instructor character in show South Park: If you eat at any other deli in the Kearney area ". . . you're gonna have a bad time." Literally and figuratively food...
Read moreThe food was great! The help mad me feel like a thief. I ordered A sandwich with a combo meal. I forgot the side and went back up and grabbed it while waiting on my sandwich. When my meal was ready, I went to get my sandwich and the kid that took my order asked me to come back down to the register. When I got there, he said, he like to ring up the brownie that I had taken and put into my purse. I told him that I had ordered a combo and that’s what I chose. The girl behind the counter stated the brownie is not included in the combo. The kid again asked if he could bring up the brownie. I had put the brownie back and grabbed a different side. I’ve gotten the brownies before and nobody told me any different. There’s nothing posted that a combo only comes with a cookie or chips. Also, their advertising is incorrect I ordered garlic bread For $1.25 and it rang up for $1.99. when I pointed it out the person making the sandwich stated that’s the wrong price on the sign we go by this other sign. I asked her to take the wrong sign down and the response from her was we can’t until we get a new sign. This is Miss advertisements and they should be charging people $1.25 until they can get the...
Read moreCame at 715pm on Friday 10/11/24. No one was at the counter when we walked in. Once they realized we were they, two girls came to the counter. They asked if we had an online order, we did not. They then proceeded to tell us it was going to be a 45 minute wait because they were getting ready to make a big 36 sandwich cater out order. I am just confused on why normal walk in business is turned away when there was a cater out? I’m not sure if this was a lack of planning on managements part on not scheduling enough help to do a larger order or if the workers just didn’t want to not make anything other than the large order, but it was not a good experience. They should have closed the store down if they weren’t going to be able to make any other food until the large order was finished. Online ordering was up and running still too. If I would have ordered online would I have gotten my order or would I have been waiting for 45 minutes. Low stars because we didn’t even get the chance to order food. 2 stars because I love the turkey...
