Sakura Teriyaki House — Restaurant in Kearney

I’m not a person who typically leaves reviews, we ordered through DoorDash, which said that it was preferred by the restaurant owner. DoorDash had extremely inaccurate descriptions of the dishes. When we went back to talk to the restaurant, the manager wouldn’t even come across the restaurant to talk to us. We were less interested in getting a different dish and more interested in making sure the problem was corrected for others, but time wasn’t even taken to listen to the issue. He yelled across the restaurant that there’s nothing that he could do. When we tried to explain the issue so that it could be fixed he again yelled across the restaurant that there was nothing he could do, terrible customer service, unwilling to even listen...

This place is a hidden gem in Kearney. It is somewhat overshadowed by the other chain food places around it, but if you go in, you will find an excellent fast casual option. They serve fresh cooked teriyaki dishes of chicken, steak, shrimp, and veggies , as well as a few sushi roll styles and appetizers. They do brisk business, but with very little wait, considering it is cooked to order. It was fast, tasty, and served with a smile in a clean and comfortable environment. My wife and I agree it will become a regular part of our dining...

Only so-so. Teriyaki chicken is good of course; but this wasn't good compared to almost any other I've had. Also the day I was there they seemed to mess up a lot of orders (including mine) and there was confusion with nearly every order that went out. Strangely disordered for a place that only does about 8 things. Almost no veggies. Fried rice was particularly greasy - and I ordered...
