On 7/5/2021 around 4pm (Starbucks store Number T-857 located in Target, Kearney NE). My wife ordered a Starbucks refresher. There was no one in line ahead of us and we were able to place our order right away. There was one Starbucks barista employee at the counter and she took our order of a single Starbucks refresher. However there was a young lady behind us that was a Target employee. There was no one else behind her. As we were waiting for our refresher, which only takes a very short time to make, the Starbucks barista asked the Target employee if she was on her break. The Target employee said "yes" and the Starbucks barista said ok I will get your order in first. So the barista proceeded to complete the order of the Target employee first since she was on her break. Ignoring our order even though we placed it first and paid for it. Our order was a simple Starbucks refresher. The Target employee's order was a sandwich and specialty coffee that took time to make. Instead of asking us if we were ok with her completing the other order first, she just went ahead and did it, leaving us standing there while they proceeded to small talk about their zodiac and moon signs, giggling and carrying on. Side note, there was also a second barista working who also could have helped, yet only took time to step away from filling containers of cream to chime in on the zodiac and moon sign conversation. Long story short, incredibly poor customer service that has assured that we will no longer be customers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām not sure how Starbucks usually makes a matcha latte but I did not receive a correctly made iced matcha on my last visit to this Target Starbucks. The woman was very sweet who took my order but didnāt seem to know how a matcha was made. She filled the cup up with ice and milk, sprinkled over matcha powder, put the lid on and shook the cup. Once I got the cup it was filled with little undissolved matcha flakes and the flavor was quite off with an odd sweetness even though I asked for unsweetened almond milk and no syrups added. I work at a matcha shop in another city so I wanted to mention that we usually whisk the matcha with warm liquid and a bamboo whisk before adding it to a cup. I asked if she would steam the milk and mix the drink that way but she didnāt know what I meant. So I just want to warn yāall that maybe Starbucks matcha isnāt the best choice. I think she just may need more training because this left me with a bad experience. I couldnāt finish the remaining and was bummed by the cost for the wrongly made drink. No hard feelings for the barista I just think the Starbucks team should have trained her more thoroughly on this product items...

I had a gift card I asked the younger girl if she could tell me what was the amount the other girl said no she closed the register out š”. I asked how long they have closed that early she said with college out not worth staying open. I went to leave and the young girl asked if I would like a coffee that was such a nice gesture maybe the older lady needs to learn from her. This is the first time after many years going I was treated rudely. I am a barista myself hope I never come off like that thx for listening sure it won't go anywhere but I did get to vent whew...
