Absolute joke! 1-6-18 1:30 am Filthy, Angry, Unorganized, 3 ring circus to sum it up! Manager and employee screaming at each other. A Local gentleman walks in and asks what excitement there was tonight. Says it's the only place open this late in the area or he wouldn't come back at all. I was told my order would take about 7 min and 5 min later it was ready. I checked my bag and wouldn't ya know it was cold! 3 tacos were fine (tomato's tasted rotten), 2 empanadas were COLD! No wonder it didn't take the normal 10 minutes, (never 7) I gave the empanadas to the manager and asked her to actually cook them for me. She did. The kid quite and she told him to get out while she was on her headset talking/screaming to someone during all of this. Then a smart ass in the back started playing the Taco Bell Empanada Commerical on his phone for everyone in response to the situation. Very loud hip hop music blasting during all of this. This has to top all encounters in my 43 years! You can't make this experience up, you just can't! Absolute joke. We were on our 30 min break and of course that turned into a hour. Could be a nice place as the decor was Western and nice, looked newly renovated. *As for the review below that states it's located in a truck stop and nothing in a truck stop is nice. That's a flat out misconception! I'm in 3-4 truck stops daily, usually Love's and Petro. 75% of the time they are clean and very friendly, especially LOVE'S. The showers are nicer than some people's personal showers. I've never experienced this in all my years traveling at a loves or petro, heck not even the taco bells located in TA's are this bad. Being located in a truck stop/travel plaza has anything to do with the ignorance or filth at this location. It's Strictly MANAGEMENT! They can order employees to clean or go home! They can restrict the music to not represent a nightclub! They can order employees to be polite and respectful or go home! Management doesn't give a rats ass about this store, only a paycheck as there's absolutely no excuse for...
Read moreUsually love the service we receive here, but unfortunately it was awful this evening. This is our usual go to when passing through town, but may rethink that after tonight.
Staff was very unwelcoming, unfriendly and downright rude. Gentleman who ordered before us asked for sauces for his meal, the woman at the register told him to check his bag better. He told her he looked, and he had none. At which point she sighed out loud, rolled her eyes and rudely handed the man a handful of sauces.
When we placed our order next my husband added he would like sauce (hoping this would save us from the same confusion the man prior to us had). The female staff member preceded to snap at my husband that she would get it at the end of the order.
The entire time we tried to place our order the staff member was texting on her phone, which laid beside the register on the counter. She was very rude and snotty to the poor gentlemen workers in the back right in front of customers.
We got our order in a good amount of time, but they shoved 4 separate orders all in one bag, making it hard to carry. Upon checking our bag, we discovered not only did they not give us sauces (that we asked for but we're snapped at) but we were missing an entire order, and the orders we received were not correct. When we returned to voice our concern with our order, the woman at the register was extremely rude and ignored us. A man working on the food line had to come and assist us (he was very kind, but obviously frustrated with the cashier).
Thank you so much to the man that helped and tried to fix the situation. The female worker clearly needs retrained in the area of customer service and common...
Read moreI don’t typically do a lot of reviews however I had to do one for this location. I would like to start this with how heartbreaking my day was. On Tuesday, 09/26/23, I attended my cousins funeral. I had to drive two hours to get there. He was 17 years old when he tragically and quickly parted from our world. Eleven years ago I lost my son. Last April I lost my mother. All three services were held at the same funeral home. So this particular Tuesday was very very hard for me. On my way home I stopped here to grab a quick bite before resuming my long journey home. At night. The food was hot and delicious. However, the reason I am writing this was because of the lady at the window. Her upbeat and positive vibes was exactly what I didn’t know I needed. More then likely changing my demeanor and keeping me from crying the long journey home. In the dark. Possibly keeping me from avoiding a car accident. My thoughts turned to her and appreciating her for just being bubbly and kind. She told me her name however i unfortunately do not remember it. She did mention being luxurious… if that helps identify her. She deserves praise. A good reminder that you can be a light in someone’s dark world and not even realize how much you helped a stranger. Thank you, you beautiful luxurious Angel who brightened a dark night for me! I wish you all the best things life...
