Bella Re's Pizza — Restaurant in Kearny

Okay so the latest review is 4 years old, that's why I ate here because of the previous reviews , I hate to leave a one star review as this is harmful and not good for the business , BUT I must warn you about this pizza business , which first of all as a previous papa johns employee noticed that it's a rip off papa johns in terms of shape texture and boxing methods to an extent , they tried to be a little different so no one would notice they copied a major franchise and are trying to gain off the success of other business, anyway I will get to the point about the food , So I ordered late night mild wings and a medium pizza with toppings , as the driver arrived he was complaining to me in a polite manner he will not receive his tip because his system closes and I order an hour prior to their business closing hour. Anyway he did not say hi or hello . Which I found very rude and applied his tip on the credit card receipt , anyway moving on I ate 4 slices and 3 mild wings within an hour I started to feel my body temperature rise and a minor stomach , So I decided to head to bed and sleep off the pain. The next morning I woke up with a very painful headache and stomach and I spent the day at home taking natural remedies , as time progessed the pain progessed to become more excruciating. Then the next night I woke up with severe pain ready to call 911 instead I decide to wait for a little after 3 hours in the bathroom and several rounds of throwing up the pain decreased slightly to the point where I was able to head back to sleep with my body temperature rising. Today is the third day of this miserable ordeal of eating this contaminated food and I'm still in pain but recovering slowly . I wish all of your families a safe and healthy life , please if any more people suffer from this place reply here with a comment that way everyone can know the truth behind this un-sanitized business and possibly take these complaints so that way we can collaberatly address this to the proper bureau.

Well, here goes my review…. For one thing, the parking was not easy. The advertising states large pizza for $5.99 on the website and inside the store. I consider this to be bait and switch. The price on the website and in the restaurant and on the menus should reflect the truth. When I got to the store I was told that it’s not the price that’s an old price. They told me the price is 6.99 and toppings are two dollars. I ordered any way. I wanted to pay w/my card but was told their machine was not working in which I wasn’t happy. When I did get the pizza, it was surprisingly good piping hot, too hot to eat actually, I had to wait for it to cool down. I ordered a large pizza with sausage. It’s sort of reminded me of Papa John’s. I did see a review stating that they were taking after Papa John’s recipe and really shouldn’t do that. But nonetheless the pizza was delicious. I was just not happy about the bait and switch as $5.99 wasn’t...

This is such an awesome place! I've eaten here plenty of times as I used to live here. The stars were bumped from a 4 to a 5 due to impeccable customer service. I called and asked if they sold coffee (don't judge ha ha). The man on the other line was friendly and said apologetically that they did not however he makes some just for him and if I was close so that he could give me some. Amazed at the warm gesture...I told him that I would be over soon.

He gave me a cup of coffee and wouldn't accept payment for it and simply told me Merry Christmas! 5 stars for great food and customer service which is a song art nowadays. They went above and beyond to accommodate my request. I will recommend this place...
