I went in meaning to try the smothered fries but was taken aback by the choices. I went with fish tacos, chile rellenos and some guacamole. The fish tacos were big, juicy and the sauce was great. Rice and beans are really good too. Chile rellenos were decent. I'd bet they'd be better in tortillas. But boy-howdy the stuff they called guacamole was so bad I threw away the pint after two bites. It was like the baby poop looking stuff at Kroger that tastes like preservatives with no chunks of avocado in it at all. Kind of surprising seeing they have so much on offer. I really hope they fix that so they can thrive. Seating for 8 inside, 24 outside covered. I will be back to try the fries or nachos, birria torta and breakfast tacos. Tuesdays is $1.75 tacos all day. If the sauce is...

As a native San Diegan, I have truly missed these flavors. As someone who has never eaten here or had this style before: the food is made to order, so even if you're going through the drive-thru, you will wait a short bit; the tortillas are awesome; salsas have a punch and such good flavor; you won't regret getting the horchata. I will say, the prices are a disappointment because they used to be half of what they are, even in California, but that isn't entirely the restaurant's fault. I have also missed having rolled tacos as an option on a menu, and unfortunately theirs were pretty crunchy/overcooked. However, I don't think you can beat the size, flavors, and freshness of most other items. So glad to have a "berto's" so locally! Go...

Really good food. It's a nice Mexican with Tex-Mex touch. Really good food, great service at least when it was slow, and really good portions and quality of food for the price. As long as you recognize it's a repurposed Sonic drive-in and the best part about this place is the good food, you'll love it. The chips were freshly made but in my opinion the salsas didn't have much flavor. They had spice, but not so much of the fresh veggie, tomato, pepper flavor I like in salsa. Definitely a solid 8/10 food spot right now, and I feel like with tweaks to their flan and salsa recipes and slightly lower soda/drink prices it would be a major contender for the best local Mexican food in...

I went bacon, egg, cheese, potatoes & chorizo… and this was hands down the biggest breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. 🌯🔥 Absolute hidden gem in Kemah, Texas. That green sauce was my favorite part of the whole burrito. And here’s the crazy part — it’s only $5.99 and could feed a village. Come see Chris behind the counter — Omar is the owner. Great people. Great food. 📍 Alibertos Mexican Food – Kemah, TX #Food #Foodie #FoodReview #KemahTexas #BreakfastBurrito

Absolutely loved this place the minute I walked in. The menu is huge, they have so many delicious options but we chose the Super Fries & Carne Asada Fries Burrito. Both were absolutely delicious. The service is great, the guy at the register was very attentive and made sure we had what we needed and even offered to clean up after us whenever we were done (when we easily could’ve done it ourselves) The fries were absolutely delicious and came in a huge portion. The burrito was deliciously wrapped tightly with fries, carne asada and all the fixings. Also… a salsa bar!!! With plenty of options to choose from. Would come back over and over again.
