Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Kendall

This place doesn't even deserve one star, but you have to give them at least one. Anyway, I ordered five blizzards for my entire family and had innocently ordered my dad's blizzard incorrectly. I told her he wanted a 'small' and not a 'mini.' The owner proceeded to give me attitude and whisper under her breath to her subordinate by the blizzard machine. I told her that the mini she had already made didn't have to go to waste, but she insisted on throwing it away and blaming me. Sorry, but my dad is paying for it so my dad is going to get what he wants. I was giving them more of his money so I didn't see the need for the attitude. Especially since all of the blizzards were not living up to the upside-down guarantee (technically shouldn't have had to pay for any of them). She thinks that she can treat me like garbage because it's a franchise, but her behavior was unacceptable! I'm truly disgusted because the teenage associate showed more professionalism than the owner herself. Don't forget about the rat droppings they recently had!...

Dairy Queen will always have a special place in my heart, and this location keeps the magic alive every time I visit! The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and everything is always served fresh and just right.

My absolute favorite treat? The cherry dipped soft serve cone--served in a cup (yes, I'm that person ). There's something about that nostalgic cherry shell paired with the creamy vanilla soft serve that hits every time. And having it in a cup makes it a little less messy and just as delicious!

Whether I'm popping in for a quick pick-me-up or treating myself after a long day, DQ never disappoints. It's the little things--like remembering how I like my order or greeting customers with a smile--that make this location stand out.

The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a refreshing aroma from the air freshener placed by the owner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

You can tell the owners truly care about this place, as every detail is thoughtfully maintained. The employees are always smiling, friendly, and eager to make your visit enjoyable. Their positive energy adds to the warm and welcoming experience.
