I am a member and enrolled before it had opened officially their doors in kendall.
I think it’s time for legal counseling!
I came in with my sister in law and asked for information regarding their membership and facility, plus, i explained that i had severe injuries to my knee and hip. They promised me so much to help me with my health issues that even under duress pressure, I got emotional and signed up, EOS staff even offered personal training "expert in injuries like mine."
Unfortunately, I did not expect to get worse but yet, I asked to not cancel over the phone but, instead hold the account, then I get the 30 days only hold, and then went back again in person. The fact is, I know, according to my sport medicine doctor, at the UM, Dr. Steven, I can't really do much with my knee and that i need physical therapy, which, EOS claims they can offer it to me too. According to my doctor, maybe, Stem cells might help but, eventually, surgery.
It was agreed upon EOS and me to hold my account at least 30 days, over a month ago, with the promise of no more charges and temporary hold. Then, on the 26th of September, I notice another charge, so, I went in personally and I was directed to a District manager named, Andrew Acosta, which seemed to be in a rush, like they all do when they already have your account, and there is no more patience. Andrew, assured me that my refund will be back in my account within 5 business days. NOT TRUE! FALSE INFORMATION.
Be careful with authorizing auto payments from your bank account. They will charge you left and right even when you freeze your account due to health issues.
Try getting a refund back? good luck! They will give you false promises, the run around, and blame each other.
The manager wants to outsmart the district manager, or simply the district manager needs to read the bylaws and learnthem. What a joke!
The fact is, that it reminds me of L.A. fitness center with all these pretty boys' ego attitudes showing off but, no brains.
What amazes me, is how, when they are trying to initially enrolled you into their program you find they courteous, charming, friendly, and "attentive" but, as some of you expressed in your reviews, once you fall for their charms and sign up. they do have an attitude and suddenly you just become an old number because, they already got your bank account contract, and probably a sale commission too. Now they are eady to bait on a new fish. Who train these staff members?
I made a promise to myself after a sexual harassment at LA fitness center, that I will never join a club with pretty boys attitudes, egos, and that is what I thought of EOS fitness, that it was a different kind of gym, and reality is, i was wrong, they totally act different from the initial visit where they hunt you like flies on S$%#, and pretend to care, trying to push you to buy every program they have, EVEN when you explained your health concerns, and conditions. They suddenly promise improvements to your health with their plans and I fell for it.
A bunch of kids with air head, i am the best kinda attitudes. There is no humbleness, just egos!!!
I regret joining them. The fact is, they are NOT doctors to make that kind of promise, legally.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to use the facility since I explained from day one that all I needed was to us their sauna or spa since, I belong to a different gym already, and still do, and maybe, use EOS when I was capable to use some of their equipment, especially their spa which is still, as of today, under construction, unfortunately, they got me with false promises of a special training for my injuries.
Again all they one is your MONEY, you are just a bank account for them.
If YOU want to be part of this join, then I am sure you will find plenty of management issues, eventually.
Don't get me wrong, the place, the structure of the branch is very nice, but the brain...

The cleaning crew is great they make sure to keep the bathrooms clean and the floor always greeting me and making sure the gym is up to par. But my problem is the fact that despite Paying the highest amount of membership, they can never maintain the equipment to the standard it is supposed to be constantly walking in and not at a minimum there’s always 10 to 15 machines are broken from equipment plus recovery chairs and bonus things we are paying for and getting stiffed in because they claim things are available at highest membership but are broken. If they’re not down which repairs don’t fall on the front desk but leadership ensuring things are working as they should and being fixed as they should right the first time or replaced this is nonsense. it isn’t the front desk responsibility it falls on the members to put weights back where they are and management should let members know this. My biggest problem is the fact that I signed up about a month ago and it’s clear that management won’t read or care about reviews despite a qr in the front read the review or even contact you to follow up your complaint they go unwarranted basically showing all they care about is numbers and the money in members pockets. My biggest problem is I’m paying this price is the same price is down the street and they have better equipment on top of the way booked back to where they’re supposed to be by ensuring the members are aware that they have to put things back equipment, make sure things are fixed or replace it if is not working and they don’t half ass it so it’ll be ghetto rigged in order For it to work temporary. UNACCEPTABLE !!! It’s pretty sad when these messages in the morning they transfer them to the manager as well. The night crew is always pleasant to interact with the boys on top of members I’m constantly greeted and treated like a friend unlike the morning when you walk in, it’s more of a business transaction of how much I could take out of your pocket The few members at night who has been above and beyond to myself is Steven and Osiris but other ones just barely acknowledge you or are busy talking to their friends without acknowledging you. They suck. Do better be better. For the price you can go to Lifetime or Amped.
Original Post: date 4/11/2025 As a new member it looks amazingly clean but all the massage chairs are broken with no time span to fix them despite being for will power they give access to everyone same as other amenities like recovery and sauna. Women sauna turns off at odd hours leaving you sitting in the dark while it resets hours later. The main reason to stay is some of the front staff and trainers who treat you with empathy other than that it’s a hyped up planet fitness. They need to do better for their highest members. Give the night shift ppl a lot of recognition because they are the reason I...
Read moreUpdating my review a year later: AC isn’t an issue anymore but only because they increased the speed of the fans. However, I still see plenty of broken cables and machines — I honestly can’t imagine what people are doing to break these so often. While the saunas seem to be mostly completed, they STILL aren’t open which is shocking considering how much time has passed. I also don’t think the gym has anyone making the weights are being picked up. People leave them everywhere which makes finding any weight extremely difficult. You spend more time walking around looking for what you need rather than working out. Some of the trainers think they’re entitled to take up all the weights and machines because they’re training a client. There’s no reason for them to take four sets of weights at a time and a cable machine. You work there but you don’t own the gym. Be courteous of other people. As others have mentioned, the front desk people don’t even acknowledge you when you come in.
Here’s a pro tip to the owner: if you’re going to use a bot for automated responses at least tailor it to respond accordingly to the review. ————————————————————————————- I wanted to give the gym 4 stars because of the variety of machines, low price, and how nice the space looks inside but unfortunately, there’s a quite a few big cons already.
The AC does not work. It’s more noticeable in some areas than in others. The fans don’t help at all and if you spend more than 30 minutes there, you will be uncomfortable. They originally emailed members saying they had to delay for a week or two to fix the ac - clearly it wasn’t fixed. I would have preferred to have waited another month or two for them to open if it meant the AC would work.
Broken machines. It’s crazy the amount of machines that are already “out of order” when the gym just opened up. Half of the massage chairs don’t work - probably because the room is unsupervised and people mess everything up.
Massage room- they should have made this space bigger to add a few more chairs. People are rude and start waiting in line inside the room for you to finish. If you’re trying to get a massage, the last thing you want is some dude staring at you waiting for you to finish. The room needs supervision from a worker.
Missing amenities- this one doesn’t bother me too much but again another reason why EOS should have delayed their opening date. There’s no pool and no saunas (things that were promised during enrollment).
Overall, the gym should have delayed opening in order to make sure everything was working properly and that all the promised amenities were...
