I went there today, April 7th and I must agree and have to say what others had said on some reviews. When I first went to this place about a year ago, the food was amazing, very good portions and prices $$ since then, they went downhill. It seems everytime I get food there the prices went up? The portions definitely went down like our current economy. I hate to have to say this but I'm very honest and straight forward. It seems the same cook who is the big tall guy, doesn't know or just doesn't care about what is to be served as for a customer or what you give to take home at the end of the night that's left over? You don't give dry ends of gyro meat or anything, cut that off and cut fresh moist pieces, and my lemon potatoes were very dry and no lemon juice, once again fresh not food that's been sitting around under heat because it tends to dry out. I'm very disappointed with the last 4 or 5 times I've been there, they are very nice people, but at the end of the day, nice isn't making my stomach feel good or wallet? Please take this review as constructive criticism and listen when people talk, don't just react? We live in a new world now that everyone is offended, that's not reality.?? $15.45 for a gyro and 3 small lemon potatoes is not feasible in today's terrible economy..🤔 just saying..I would love to see a improvement, possibly get new people who take pride for what they serve? PLEASE don't be stingy..shall I say TZATZIKI SAUCE?? IT MUST BE GREEK GOLD? LOL..GOD BLESS...
Read moreThe only thing this place has going for it is the ambience and small town feel that Kenilworth provides. I knew we were in trouble when the waitress was more concerned about the way someone was attempting to park than taking our order. We started with lemon rice chicken soup that was cold when it came out. It took forever to come out. The reason it came out cold was because the waitress kept forgetting to bring it to us. The gyro my wife ordered had something that they considered lamb. To us it looked more like charred pieces of electrical tape. Nothing else. No vegetables or anything. They also gave her probably like 4-5 fries. It’s as if they forgot my wife ordered fries and at the last minute snatched a few from someone else’s plate and threw them on there. We tried adding tzatziki sauce and not even that could rescue this abomination. I ordered beef kebobs with Greek style potatoes. The beef kabobs tasted like air. There was absolutely no flavor to them. The Greek style potatoes weren’t seasoned well and were not cooked all the way. They too came out cold as ice. I didn’t have it in me to finish the meal. My suggestion to anyone reading this is to go somewhere else if you want a quick bite. Save your money and go somewhere else or buy some ingredients and do it yourself. ANYONE can make better food than this place. I’d be surprised if they’re still...
