Good Earth — Local services in Kennebunkport

In my opinion the best shop in Kennebunkport. I’m so grateful these 2 wonderful local artists have shared their creativity with their community. I stop in every Christmas Prelude and continue my collection of their diverse pottery (plus their amazing Christmas prelude gift of a bulb in their beautiful pottery is such a thoughtful tradition). The shop itself is an ode to the best parts of costal new England architecture, set in an original boat house set on pillons over the Kennebunk river.

Now I think of them whenever I look at my mug collection, give mugs to my loved ones, and am looking for something special to love for my kitchen. If you want to support local artisans and find a true gem of Kennebunkport- this is the spot to find your keepsake to...

Beautiful, well made, and unique items. The hand carved ceramic jack-o-lanterns are some of my favorites- each one is different; I've bought 20 (I'm serious) and I love them all. My wife and I got to enjoy meeting David and purchase soup bowls and a berry strainer that we plan to use on the farm and learn about the artistry at the Good Earth. The pieces him and his wife make are incredibly well crafted. I was very impressed by the maple leaf imprinted pottery and vases (worth another visit). Very cool shop and definitely a must see in...
