Time to update this review because this place has taken a nosedive into mediocrity! They did a refurb where they installed kiosks and one check out. Which is probably for the best as the customer service is poor. Is it always poor, no, but it's never nice. I place my orders via the mobile app and only use the drive thru to avoid the staff. But this last time they still managed to rub me the wrong way. I pulled up to the second drive thru and waited... Then I heard "can I take your order" from the first drive thru where there was no one waiting... So, I waited again, I'll give everyone the benefit of the doubt. We waited for our speaker to ask for our order, I had my order code ready. Then finally the speaker spoke "we'll be with you in a minute"... okay. So we waited again, a few minutes went by and a car pulled up the first window and guess what "can I take your order" was heard from the first drive thru. That's when my patience ran out. So, I just pulled around, I have already placed my order I just need to give my order code, simple. I pulled around, the lady started repeating back the other persons order, so I stopped her and told her the situation. She kissed her teeth, rolled her eyes and started complaining about this being someone else's fault. I apologized for pulling up but we'd been waiting a good while. I can handle the attitude, the frustration, I don't expect to be treated like royalty, I get it. But after she gave us the receipt I and we pulled to the next window I heard. "The next order is the mobile order... he's too impatient." That ruffled me, impatient, really, did you have to do me like that? I was plenty patient, next time take my code at the speaker that way I don't have to bother you with my order, trust me I didn't really want to talk to you either. Read moreEvery weekday morning I go to McDonalds in either Kenner or Metairie to get three or four large coffees at a time via the drive thru. There is a repeated problem at all locations with the employees not filling the cups up to the fill-line sometimes by as much as a 1/4 below. This is essentially a medium quantity of coffee in a large cup. I have complained to the employees filling the orders as well management at various locations but the problem continues. I have attempted to call the customer service telephone numbers posted at the drive up windows which seem to always go to voicemail and never yield a call back. On one occasion an employee a Metairie location out right told me he was not going to fill up the cups which prompted me to ask for the manager. When I was explaining the situation to the manager the employee was standing in the background holding up a medium cup screaming, “This is a medium!” I laughed and said you’re missing the point, it’s what’s in the cup that counts not the cup. I have complained about this issue until I am blue in the face and the problem still continues. There have been times when I have been sitting at the window and could clearly see that the employee was stretching the last of the pot(s) between the three/four cups rather than making more to properly fill the order. I would rather wait for more coffee to be made than get less than I am paying for. Today, I discovered that the prices of coffee at the Kenner - West Esplanade location went up again. Read moreI worked here and this is the worst place to work ever. Theyre liars, scammers and incredibly unprofessional. I worked here because to get the tuition and for 2.5 months i asked about it nearly every week and kept getting told to "wait until closer to the 3 month work period". 2 weeks before 3 months i talk to them about it: the hiring manager tells me to talk to the manager that deals with that, that manager then tells me shell figure out more stuff for this. So i wait a little more, then she tells me its only for some university in arizona or something. After being known its my last year and knowing im not tranfering she tells me "just transfer there". I then decide to take matters into my own hands and go online and the mcdonalds corp support tells me this location and company do not do tuition assistance. I go into work furious the next day and tell the asisstant manager than they dont do tuition assistance. She keeps insisting they do and then she eventually calls the boss who i hear saying they dont do it, they use the signs to get people to apply. STAY AWAY FROM WORKING HERE.
