A Cuban Diamond In the Rough! My Favorite Nephew and Niece Stumbled on this cute and quaint little Cuban Coffee Shop in Kenner, Bruh! Don’t let the name fool you cause the olace is owned vu the nail salon next door. The Owner, Teddy is adorable and makes your heart smile by his smile…it’s infectionous! I had the Cuban Pork Sandwich and Alfie had The Cuban Sandwich. I’ve had many Pork sandwiches but the flavor of the pork was excellent and truly Cuban style and it has a fried Pork Skin on too! The Cuban Sandwich was also delicious and authentic as well according to Alfred, who by the way is full Cuban…. Other delicacies were the Pastelito de Guava e Quesco, Pork, Chicken and other goodies to include Flan and other desserts. It’s off of Veterans Blvd tucked away in a small Strip Mall…. The best part about this place besides Teddy, is that the sandwiches come with a little Cuban flag on top!! If you’re in the area.. try...
Read moreI randomly tried this little gem for the first time yesterday w/my husband and son. Seems like they’re just opened recently. You won’t see it from the busy Veterans street, but once you turn into the plaza, you’ll find it tucked in between the front and back parking lot. It’s a gorgeous little gem, and with an inviting atmosphere, a grass wall for photo ops, and their staff is so friendly and welcoming! They even gave my little one a flower to gift me for a late Mother’s Day.
We tried a number of items-Double shot expresso, dulce de leche hot latte, beef w/veggie empanada, ham and cheese panini, and tres leche and we enjoyed each one! I haven’t had an empanada in ages, even my picky toddler loved it! I’m a huge Tres leche fan, and I will say it was the perfect balance of moist & sweet that paired well with coffee. Their coffee was perfection, and we so look forward to exploring their menu more on our...

The frappes are silky-smooth, the coffee is perfectly balanced, and the fresh-pressed sandwich was full of flavor. Their pastries are just the right touch of sweet—you can taste the care in everything they serve.
