UPDATE: I went there for a second time. The pho is still really good, but if i order the mini pho for $9 (stated on the menu $8.99) and gratuity included is about $1 and some change for that, why in the world would my total come to $18.59??? I ask the server why the total is so high when i recieved the check and he explains he even spoke to his manager beforehand about why it is so high and one of the MANAGERS says tha00ts the price of what it is. Now i have to side eye if i should go here again because prices aren't matching what is listed on the menu and i feel like someone tried to just get more money from me. Luckily, my server was able to make it to where i get the actual price of my order (i even topped another 20% tip on top of the already included gratuity and tax so my total only sat at $13.16....NO WHERE NEAR $18.59!) because all i had was the mini pho, but now im skeptical on if they are just non-chalant on prices not advertised on the menu and overcharging. ORIGINAL: The food was really good as I had the sakura chicken pho and also the pork gyoza appetizer. The server was amazing. I think her name is tiyeni. ❤️She was sweet and nice and very attentive to everything even giving recommendations. The decor felt nice especially with the naruto depictions. Both managers denver and tai were exceptionally nice and strike good convo to check in on you. If you want a good meal that is full and comforting, this is definitely a good...
Read moreWent here today for a fun date and yikes we asked the server about the ramen and what meats were in it because we wanted one with chicken and one with the pork, he told us which ones we should try so we ordered the hidden leaf tonkatsu ramen and the shoyu shadow style ramen and a hokage milk tea and some waters since we were told the soda machine is broken. When we received our food it was 2 identical bowls of ramen that had miso broth boiled chicken and a piece of pork chasu with a half egg and some fish cakes the broth was okay but the noodles seemed like undercooked top ramen the chicken tasted bland and super tough the milk tea did not taste like milk tea at all we both took a sip and thought it tasted like watered down skim milk with some kind of medicine like flavoring in it. The food was pretty terrible and not what we ordered at all unfortunately. Also the vibe was really awkward because it was dead silent only made worse by the guy who was making the food open mouth coughing next to the food and cooking area in the restaurant. You would think at a naruto themed restaurant they would have Naruto playing on the tvs and anime music playing but there was no music and some reality tv show playing on the tv. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but this was too bad not to leave one. I can only imagine that we either had a particularly terrible service or the 5 star reviews on here are fake and from...
Read moreI am writing this review not to complain, but offer advice to a new business.
I love the atmosphere, and the customer service is amazing as well, I felt very welcomed and comfortable.
However, The gyoza is ordered was different than what appeared on the menu. The menu shows a fried or seared gyoza with soy sauce on the side. A good looking appetizer, however, I received potstickers inside of a broth. This is the first thing that was wrong. The second thing would be the broth was not seasoned with anything. It tasted like a bland chicken broth and watery if anything. I was really dissatisfied with this Gyoza.
With that being said, I am not posting this review to complain, but rather point this out to the owner and employees because I do think this appetizer MUST have just been made incorrectly on my visit, and this doesn't make or break the resturant for me. I still intend on returning and trying out the ramen, but the gyoza needs some serious work and needs to be more accurate to the pictures on the menu.
I have high hopes for the ramen, though. It looks very good from what ive seen. I just hope if I were to order the gyoza again it would be either more accurate to the menu or at least have...
