I ordered macaroni and cheese with chicken tenders for my kids and didn't realize the barbecue sauce would be put directly onto the bowls. Even though I realized it was my fault because it said "spread", my husband encouraged me to see if they could remake it since my little ones wouldn't eat macaroni and cheese covered in barbecue sauce.
I reluctantly went to the food counter and spoke with a lady in spanish. I explained the situation as politely as I could, and she immediately shut me down and responded angrily, "That's how it's made, there's nothing I can do." She then told a young employee working alongside her the situation (in English), and he responded, "It's like they expect us to read their minds".
I don't know if he didn't realize I speak English or what, but it was completely rude and uncalled for because I wasn't rude at all.
I've never had a bad experience at any Wawa, ever.
