I was really excited for this place however was honestly pretty disappointed with the food that was advertised and rewarded as the "best in Pasco" or "best around TRI cities" and it was completely bland....my FAVORITE ice cream is chocolate chip cookie dough and I was super excited to try the homemade ice cream stand right when you walk in, was highly disappointed and a bit sad as all it tasted of was vanilla...the cookie dough chunks didn't taste of anything.,..I will give it another chance but next time I will go straight for the bratwurst and burger hub inside the restaurant, they looked like they would be good. Would not recommend the taco truck or ice cream as they both tasted of nothing. The taco truck has a reward on the counter that says "the best in Pasco" however I could think of a 3 places that would beat them in flavor by a long shot. Not trying to be rude or a Karen. Just giving my honest opinion about the food. The place itself is amazing I loved the atmosphere and the different selections you have to choose from. I'm not never going back. I'll give them another chance or 2 since there's more things to try, those were the first I've ever tried and it just didn't taste how i expected it. They also left off the cilantro, cabbage and onion when I specifically asked for all of those with extra lime and only got 1 like wedge that was tiny. So that didn't help my opinion lol. But to each there own. I still had a blast seeing the different food selections and enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere. I felt like I was at the fair. I give 3 out of 5 stars but will change that once I go back and try something else. Also the taco stand charges 3.99% IF YOU USE A CARD! I thought that was crazy. Their making you buy your own money to buy your food. Never heard of that before. Another reason I give the 3 out of 5...
Read moreWe went to the summer hub for a friend's birthday? After walking around looking at everything, I decided to get a bacon wrapped hot dog from El Flaco to me it looked like the best thing there and boy was I right. With a soft warm bun a very large hot dog wrapped completely in bacon and the sauteed onions this hot dog made before your eyes had great flavor. After receiving your hot dog they have many toppings that you can place on top of it, making it your own one of those is, a very good homemade mango salsa. The picture of the small cup shows the salsa. Not too spicy and absolutely a great combination of items which produce an absolutely great flavor. My compliments to the chef and when I return to get my next hot dog I'm going to see if I can get the recipe..... El flaco is right outside the entrance door of the building by the restrooms. You can't miss it just look for the large tent with the great smelling hot dogs underneath.... If you do, go to the summer hub and you're looking for something great to eat, I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you get a bacon wrapped hot dog from El flaco. It is simple yet at the same time a great combination of a super tasting hot dog a good soft bun and of course the best thing in the world, bacon and lots of sauteed onions. You can't go wrong by stopping by and getting a hot dog here...Tell them Greg...
Read moreAt the moment, we are sitting here, hoping the light blizzard doesn't get worse. The manager of Brady's came out and remembered wife and I stopping in during the Christmas event. At that time, the Santa at the event took time to talk to her little (DID alter) and helped make the visit very, very special. We have been here maybe a dozen times, including the gaming and holiday events, and talked with several of the food truck vendors. Our adult kid is with us now, but our 16-year-old with ASD has been here, too, and has enjoyed the events. Atmosphere is not overstimulating, at least compared to the more noisy Chuck E. Cheese across the parking lot. (This is not a slam against CEC per se.) As I'm also autistic, a relatively calm environment is important to me, as well. I'm also impressed with the live entertainment that is hosted during the warmer seasons.
I've lived in this area since 1978 and I have never seen anything like this in the greater Columbia Center area-- and I'm just old enough to remember Farrell's and Skate West. I would recommend to anyone looking for highlights in the de facto downtown of the Tri-Cities area to check...
