Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Kent Island

I have eaten at many (10+ locations) Jersey Mikes over the years and I am not sold on this location, there was no Jersey Mikes signature taste or quality. I decided to try this one, because I was excited to see they put one closer to home, but this one gets a big "NO" from me for now. Not sure if they are too new yet, but I was not WOW'd by their subs at all. It was missing something and was off (Very little meat, no taste, dry, assembled extremely sloppy). I ordered the Giant Italian and a Regular Philly Cheesesteak on the evening of 4/9/25. To start, I'm not sure if they are following the trend of most of the other Eastern Shore, MD sub spots where they skimp you on the meat, but there was barely any meat on either sub unlike all other locations I have tried, it was just mostly all bread. Anytime I eat at the Annapolis location or Cambridge, I can say this is the signature Jersey Mikes taste, but not at this one. My daughter even normally devours her sub, but she barely even touched these. Next, the subs were assembled very sloppy, falling apart, it was like a child made the sub, had no taste and was extremely dry like they skimped on the mayo and oil and vinegar. I knew something was off when I picked up the bag and it seemed very light. The location was nice and clean, as expected, because it is brand new and the staff was friendly, attentive and professional, but MAN, they just need serious work on their sub assembly, That food was way off from the signature Jersey Mikes experience I am loved for 10 years + and very disappointing considering that their subs aren't cheap. This was very comparable to a grocery store or 7-11...

First time trying this chain and was completely disappointed. We tried the app and picked up the order and took it home. I should have checked it there, but 70% of the toppings for my sub weren't even on it, it was just lettuce and tomato.. My wife's sub in a bowl might be for some people but it was basically chicken salad and lettuce soup and was just not appetizing. Finally the kids meal for my son, didn't have the cookie with it.. When I called to complain the cashier was mostly helpful remaking my order but when I mentioned the cookie they said oh sorry we don't have them and offered a substitute, so if they can't fulfill the order you just don't get it? No one was going to tell me? Even when the order was done correctly, for the price the product we got was definitely not worth it. I don't recommend this place, there are plenty of better cheaper...

First things first. Excellent sandwich.

I stopped here for a quick lunch on a Sunday. The staff behind the counter were head-down busy. There were at least ten online orders being fulfilled and the back of the house was working hard doing their part.

In the midst of this a very pleasant young lady acknowledged my presence and said that someone would soon take my order. In a second a young man who suggested I try a hot sub today- I chose the Original which I always do, and Mike’s Way at that. Why mess with perfection?

The entire staff was noticeably young- like High School age, but they worked well and my order was crafted and delivered faster than you can say “extra onions”

One note, I was looking for the restroom but only found an unmarked door (locked) so I’m not sure what provisions were...
