Happy At the Bay Teriyaki — Restaurant in Kent

Normal I do not do reviews nor am I a conformational person. But recently I went to dine in at happy at the bay, mind you I’ve been eating here for YEARS ever since I was little, just recently I had such a rude encounter with one of the employee, an elderly asian lady. I order and I go to pay my card declines, I check my card is locked, I unlock it, declined again, I question to myself why if I have the funds by this time it had declined twice. As I’m quickly figuring it out, I look to notice the lady is visibly annoyed, and tosses both receipts that show that it didn’t go thru at me. I ask her what’s with her attitude and all she says with an attitude is “well it didn’t go through” as she scoffs at me and rolls her eyes. Mind you there was nobody in the shop at that time so I wasn’t holding anyone up I wasn’t there anymore than 2 mins bc I usually order the usual. I tell her I was working on it and atp she just looks more annoyed and atp I confront her and tell her I don’t appreciate her attitude and that she’s too grown to be acting this ignorant and I leave. As I leave and go into my car I notice a heavy set guy from the kitchen walk out the kitchen into the diner and stare us down out the window. Mind you I have also heard she charges for tea when it has been known to be complimentary, and has had multiple complaints against her. It’s so frustrating considering I’ve dine here for years and enjoy the food and have had no other issue with the other lady. At this point that elderly lady...

food was good since years back, but service is horrible by the old lady on the front. She has terrible customer service, I've experience her being rude to a couple customers at times when I've been dining in. Today was my turn lol... She gave me the food cold and the chicken a bit raw. I politely asked her if she could habe the cook fox my chichen and that the rice was absolutely cold. She started yelling at me on front of other customers stating that she was not going to fox my food because I was lying and walked away. I raised my voice as well and asked her for a 2nd time and she picked up my plate in a very rude manner. Againg continuing to state that the chicken was already well done and ignoring me about the rice being cold. At the end I asked for my refund and she did not refund my soda... I didn't even drink out pf the cup but since I had filled up w soda she said she wasn't going to refund it. what a ** right? well I let her keep my over $2 for the cup and left the place. That lady I believe is the one in charge there but has a horrible attitude and Zero customer service to be at the front. Don't go there anymore. Have...

VERY RUDE! I understand mixups can happen. But instead of apologizing for the mixup, the blame was put on us for ordering the wrong thing. I clearly heard my brother as he ordered our food. She said she repeated the order and he said okay. Thinking it was what we originally wanted. When i arrive and she repeats the order I said it was wrong. I was not giving her any attitude , I was not being rude. I was just simply stating that the order was wrong. It was already made so it’s not like I was going to wait for it to be done again. And she put her hand, didn’t let me speak and was very rude and loud saying she repeated the order back 3 times. My family and I have been coming here for over 13 years. We’ve never had any problems with the staff. We are regulars who come every Saturday. It is so sad because the place we always go as a family to dine for the weekend. But this is the 2nd time she has been rude for no reason. We are done...
