I’ve never written a review before and I spent a week to think whether I should post this or not, but it was just a really sad experience, so finally decided to share it here.
My husband and I visited this place last weekend with my 3 month old baby. we usually do not go out to eat with my baby because of the pandemic however, we really liked pho from here so we decided to drive down.
When we arrived, they seemed pretty busy, and there were customers behind us. We waited for a little bit then decided to seat ourselves so we don’t block the entrance. ( the restaurant is small and also our baby was in a baby carrier basket which was quite heavy)
We waited but they never came to our table, and they started to serve people who came in after us. We waited and waited, but they never came and ignored us. Our baby started to cry, so we decided to leave the restaurant. Of course, there was no sorry or thank you from any of them at the restaurant.
If they told us what we did was wrong or offended them, we would’ve apologized but we didn’t even have a chance to talk to them.
This just made me sad. Very, very sad. especially we liked their food. The service was always not good but it was ok considering the quality of the food. But this time, it was the worst and rudest.
Also, the tables were arranged super close to each other and there is no social distancing at all - I think they try to put as many customers as...
Read moreI’ve been looking for a pho spot in Washington that was like back home. I’ve been to a couple and wasn’t impressed. Pho is different out here than on the east coast. This place is small and to some may be “a hole in the wall” but this place is definitely a “gem” and was my old go to pho spot. Their pho is way better than what I’m use to getting on the east coast. The waitress were friendly and efficient. The food came out piping hot and super fast. Yeah the inside looks a little dingy in a few spots but if you ask me the “hole in a wall spots” are the best any day! Ive noticed some pho places out here were a bit pricy but this place is not one of them and the Pho is amazing! Try the bean curd - it’s not the average by any means. Try the grilled beef plate- it’s amazing. Any pho that you get will be delicious. I have never had anything bad. -Nov 14, 2019
Pho Bac still reigns supreme to all the other pho places we have visited. Even though it’s been knocked out of my top Pho spot this will always be one of my fav pho places - March 2, 2022
Ask them for a beef rib! It’s a...
Read moreI’ve been to at least a few dozen pho places in and around Seattle, and Pho Bac is my favorite. The noodles have just the right amount of give and resistance. The broth is perfectly balanced, not too sweet, with a burst of spices and the right amount of salt. The meats are always well selected, and the meatballs are the best I’ve had. I also prefer chili oil in my pho to any sauces, so having chili oil is important for me, and their chili oil is delicious. Flavorful with a bit of kick and some funkiness. The fried rolls are amazing. Thin, crispy wrappers with a little bit of stored oil gives them a sort of roasty nuttiness, and the filling is slightly sweet with lots of carrot and meat.
The coffee is powerful, thick, and sweet. I’m rarely here early enough to be able to have it, since it’s wuite potent, but I suggest trying it at least once.
The boss is friendly, aand the service is good.
This one’s a keeper. I don’t live or work anywhere near here, but I’ll be looking for excuses to go when I can for a long time to come. It’s worth going out of...
