I think Lucci's has bad customer service, from the the manager to Cheynne the driver. Whaterever happend to goood customer service? This day and age, empoloyees can argue with customers on the telephone How can you deliver pizzas and not get out of the car, when do the customers come out to your car to pick up a pizza (Cheyenne) If you want to be in the pizza business, spend the money and get a logo to let people know who you are. It's not others fault that you don't want to spend the money and get a logo like most businesses do private or not.. Cheyenne, next time you deliver a pizza, and you have to get into a business, call the customer and let them know you're there, don't just sit in your car and think the customers going to come out to your car, how safe it that Genius!! We are in the times where employees are allowed to be disrespectful to customer and still keep their jobs. Better yet Lucci's, when customers call in an order, let them know your procedure, that they have to come out to our car and get thier pizza and we don't have a logo becasue we're privately owned. Geniuses, who walks up to a random car that they have no idiea who you are becasue you're sitting in your car with flashing lights, how many people do this, lots. Get some...

best pizza in town..nope not even close the lack of sauce or none ruined a otherwise decent pizza had enough cheese and toppings but no sauce called the owner and he explained that this is how pizza is made and he made this pizza himself i hate to tell you but any pizza with no sauce is not good i do not care how much cheese and toppings it has it must have sauce i repeat must have sauce it is a cheap owner that will not even put a small amount of sauce on a pizza sauce is the cheapest part of a pizza why would you skimp out on that i eat pizza 3-4 times a week so i feel that i am somewhat decent at judging a pie lack of sauce please do not cheap out on that when your customer even gives you a 2 dollar and fifty cent tip it is not like i am looking for pizza from italy but i have had many frozen pizzas that have been far superior because they have SAUCE!!! no sauce just means that it is crazy bread and little ceasers is far cheaper and better if thats all you want written by john frame do yourself a favor and just go buy a walmart take and bake pizza it is way better it has sauce 1 star is mandatory but no star is what i would...

Price is reasonable, so it’s worth a try if you’re tired of the chain pizza joints.

Crust tastes great but feels like it was stretched too thin, which would have been fine had it been somewhat crisp. Maybe my pie was just a bit under baked if a crispy thin crust is what they’re going for.

Sauce is flavorful and tastes like tomatoes not just the distant memory of them with tons of sugar added or anything like that. Though it was very thinly applied, some bites were essentially biting into a white pizza.

The pizza was also fairly greasy, though that doesn’t bother me that much. It is worth being said, as a lot of people dislike that.

I will say it seems that they’re using decent ingredients, the dough tastes fresh and definitely isn’t filled with stabilizers like that of the national chains. Toppings were moderately generous, although the pepperoni tasted a bit too hamy for my preferences.

Verdict: Worth a try.

The cost to quality ratio seems to be on point. I’m willing to give the benefit of the doubt that maybe my pie was not their best or standard. I will update as I’ll likely try it again in a...

The best part is the pizza box. It's so sturdy and strong!! Something you'd buy from the UPS shipping store - high quality. I paid $30 for the large 18" pizza (yes I tipped you guys). Unfortunately the pizza was undercooked. Please see pictures. The dough was so soggy and soft that the cheese and topping wouldn't and couldn't stay on; they slid right off. There's no such thing as eating a slice with one hand with this one. You either need two hands or a knife and fork. The fork is needed anyways because of the landslide of cheese and toppings as you pick up the slice. I've been to Lucci's before and have had great experiences. I hope this was just an isolated incident. Nonetheless, it was a poor experience. I didn't finish the pizza - instead I ordered a $15 large speciality pizza from Papa John's. It was half the price and twice as cooked. LUCCI's -- please leave your email in the review reply so that I may contact you so you have the opportunity to make this right. When done so, I am happy to remove my experience from here. Thank you.

I was at a nearby brewery/winery a few weeks ago (Maize Valley), did a search for food, and up comes this place with NY-style pie. Ha! Nowhere has lived up to that promise for me. Until Lucci's. Next to NYC, this is the best pizza I've ever eaten, and I am SUPER picky with pizza...95% is average, predictable "meh" stuff. Aside from possibly also New Haven, CT pie (bucket list for me), Lucci's is the real deal. I drove an hour and a half today, not for beer or wine, but just for this pizza. I recommend at least red sauce, ricotta and roasted garlic, or ricotta and pesto sauce (instead of red sauce). I brought the pie to nearby Madcap Brew Co, which is only 1.6 miles away, and paired it with an IPA. 100% Heaven.

I never would have imagined that I would find a perfect New York style pizza in Ohio. It was the perfect crust - crisp around the edge but fluffy & tender inside. The topping : sauce : cheese ratio was perfectly balanced. I spend a lot of time traveling for work. I always strive to eat the best food I can when I'm on the road, which doesn't always happen (especially in small towns). It's so nice to find a gem like Lucci's and if I'm ever back in Kent, I'll definitely eat here again. Thanks, guys!
