We went here the other day and the employee there was making our sandwiches with his mask slipping off, used his bare hands to handle our food before putting gloves on, told us his mask was slipping because of his glasses but did nothing to fix it, then after that took the mask off completely talking right into our food while attempting poorly to make our sandwiches. He was slurring his words, didn't understand our order when telling him patiently multiple times, and confused the pepperoni for salami twice in a row, clearly impaired or color blind. He had glassy eyes, like he was high, and was disgusting to the point that we walked out. I've never seen such terrible behavior from an employee of Subway. Between the violation of Health Codes of handling food with no gloves, not wearing a mask, and being so obviously impaired, there were many disappointing parts of our visit- Most importantly the inconsiderate nature of not using sanitary measures before handling people's food. There are plenty of people out there who deserve a job, and this dude was not one of them. We then went to the other Subway in Kent by 240th Street and the service was excellent. Before starting my businesses, I worked at a Subway 12 years ago, and would never have treated the customers the way this guy did....
Read moreI was in this Subway yesterday eating my mobile order at a table when a man who described himself as a regular customer came in and was upset about some earlier issue with his sandwich. He was a unnecessarily rude and over-dramatized the situation to the lone clerk who appeared to be around high school age. It was clearly a misunderstanding that wasn't her fault and she was taking the brunt of his frustration. Rather than project attitude back the girl listened patiently, asked questions of how she could make the situation right and remained calm and collected. I was very impressed by how well she handled herself and the situation and won the man over with her customer service. The man left then came back in briefly and apologized for being a bit of a jerk. I told her just before I left I thought she'd done very well in handling the situation but hope her manager see's my review and recognizes what a great employee they have.
I've also eaten there several times previously and always had a...
Read moreI when today to use my coupon an was told that they don't honor it. I told the cashier they do because I use the same one this month. She refused to honor it. I couldn't stay because I only 30 minutes for lunch. So I called bat to speak to the manager. The same cashier answered said his name was Happy but he was not in and she refused to give her name. I called out to the corporate office, when through the phone prompt to get customer service and the line just co continuously rang and rang. So I hung up and called back and tried to just use the operator going through the prompts as well and when I tried to do that to reach the operator the phone just rang and rang. So in essence I got no one this is a bad experience and I don't recommend going to Subway. They pick an they pick and choose when they want to honor the coupons and when you want to complain you have no one to complain too so...
